Loved this accommodation, so clean, welcoming and comfortable. Decorated beautifully and everything you need in a holiday property. Communication great. It is also in a great location in Castle Douglas. Big Tesco 5 mins away. We managed to park outside on the road, but car park directly opposite (free). The bunk beds are bigger than regular ones, plenty of room.

Being elderly we found the position of the double bed to be too cramped for both of us to use. One of us slept in the bottom bunk. That said the beds themselves were very comfortable. The toilet and shower room was also very small and reached via a small step which required care to negotiate.

The Coop was exceptionally clean, well appointed and comfortable. It was very tastefully decorated reflecting its name. Although there was no private parking, we were always able to park on the street adjacent to the property. The owner responded promptly to a couple of queries I had.

Well designed. Kitchen has everything needed. Bunk bed perfect love the wood panelling. Double bed very comfortable. Welcome pack a nice touch and unexpected, nice treats. Good sofa and nice large tvs in each room. USB ports in rooms. Nice patio for morning coffees. A perfect base to explore a beautiful area. Very reasonably priced. Recommended. Excellent parking just opposite.

I didn’t like the fact that there was no lock on the bathroom door.

The property was very well equipped , clean and of a high standard. The location was superb , very close to high street and supermarket and a great base for travelling to surrounding towns and places of interest.

Spacious and well designed flat, very clean and a great host

The double bedroom was compact which resulted in me having to climb across the bed to close the window blinds or access the window. Other than this it was all perfect.

The self contained flat was very clean, well decorated and furnished very well. All the contents looked new or nearly new. Clearly, well looked after and cared for. A selection of breakfast cereals were provided as well as some snacks. The cooker hob & oven was very clean and even had aluminium foil pre laid on the oven shelves! Milk was also in the fridge ready for a brew when we arrived. Thanks! The bedding was also very good, spotless and comfortable.....again the rooms were lovely. Bathroom, although compact was bright and clean with soap and shower gels etc. When we arrived the television was on a youtube 'crackling fire' video....again very thoughtful. Everything we expected was provided and much more besides.

As I am 88 and quite disabled a few things would be nice A raised toilet and a seat in the shower. They don’t say they cater for very elderly nots so able people but for the future these couple of points would be perfect.

A lot of rules asking guests to strip beds, load dishwasher etc. haven’t come across that before and it’s surprising given what we paid. Host otherwise very welcoming and gave us lots of useful info.

Extremely comfortable bed with really nice luxury finishes throughout. Kitchen is equipped with everything you could need and more. Great to have smart TVs with streaming apps which was a bonus

Fabulous flat ,top quality fixture and fittings . Spotlessly clean. Welcome basket was a lovely touch. Easy access . Great base for exploring the area. Would definitely book again.

I would have liked a seat in the shower as I can’t stand for any time. Otherwise everything was perfect. Met the owner who was very nice and helpful. My great grand children lovely the wee garden.
