We found all the staff very friendly, helpful and very accommodating to all our requirements. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious with a great choice and the bar area was spacious and relaxing. This hotel is in a great central location for shopping and sightseeing.

Noise at nght from the bar below specifically outside under the window and later music from a bar opposite. The window had to be open with the double glazed unit open for ventilation as it was hot weather. Stairs carpets could do with a clean.

The mattress was a bit worn out.

In the middle of the old town centre. Good breakfast which was available for £9,95 per person. The stairs to the rooms and the room were clean but a bit tired.

Woke up very early by brewery delivery but that’s the downside of staying in a pub. Otherwise would definitely recommend

The windows in bedroom didn’t have a catch to stay open but there was a fan in the room , could do with an uplift , The stairs are quite steep also If you have mobility issues, can’t comment on restaurant as we didn’t eat there but the dining room looked nice

Probably due to the location and being on a weekend, even though we were on the top floor the disturbance from loud music went on until about midnight, some from the Inn itself (I do appreciate it's a pub) which quietened down about 10 pm, and also from surrounding Bars/Restaurants which went on until after midnight. We were conscious of having to turn the volume of the TV in the room up quite loudly to hear it. This may be a different experience during the week. We would also have liked to see a fridge in the room but unfortunately not, especially on a very warm weekend

Overall the hotel/Inn was very nice, staff were friendly and happy to help. Breakfast and evening meal were cooked and presented well. For a central location the Coach House is perfect.

Scorching hot water in bathroom. Even though you can regulate water temperature in the shower it was still too hot Mattress was sinking but still comfy

Power point not working near the kettle.

Meals were amazing, a great atmosphere in the heart of the town so easy to explore on foot. Parking was close bye even if you had to pay for it.

The room was very very stuffy, the fan was very much appreciated though as we wouldn’t have managed without it. The TV was very small, you couldn’t really see the screen when sat in bed. Some of the plug sockets underneath the desk didn’t work (room 4). At the time of booking it mentioned there was a mini fridge in the room which was a huge bonus for me as someone with a food allergy that often brings my own food to places. However when we arrived there was no mini fridge and it had been removed from the listing. Not sure if it was a change to the rooms or a glitch!

Great central location and very cheap considering that it’s right in the centre. We were able to easily come back to the room multiple times a day without it being a long walk. It was helpful having a hair dryer, iron/ironing board and toiletries already in the room. Especially helpful having a powerful fan! Bed was very soft and comfortable and very spacious. Room was quite big too so we had plenty of room to scatter our stuff and put things away.
