Chris is a very charming and interesting host. We enjoyed his hospitality immensely. His cat Patch visited us regularly to check on us. Breakfast was great. Location is perfect with 10-15 minutes walk to the town center. Place is spotless and wonderful.

Each room is unique with attached bathroom and nice extra amenities such as waters/tea/coffee and a snip o whiskey if you choose. Breakfast was amazing (the best we've experienced in Scotland) and the property is in a quiet street within easy walking distance to the city center.

A really Beautiful house, the room furnished with lovely decor and all around clean. The charming landlord offers the best breakfast with all the things we like. On our journey through Scotland the best accomodation.

If I had to say anything perhaps that street parking was a little difficult but not bad. We had to park down.the street a bit.

The owner was friendly and helpful and served a nice breakfast in a pretty room. The beds were comfortable and it is a short walk to town. Fun older house but updated room facilities.

Chris was an absolute legend. Such a kind and accommodating host, with lots of little thoughtful inclusions that really elevated the stay. The room was immaculately clean with great facilities, it was a wonderful experience all-round.

The location is great, an 8-10 minutes walk from the city center. The house itself is adorable, our room was quite spacious and very well furnished. Everything is perfectly clean and smells wonderful. Chris is the perfect host, attentive and responsive and takes great care of guests. He's full of attention, like the chocolates and whisky upon arrival (which you can have refilled during the stay ;)). Breakfast is delicious, basically anything you want and when you want. I highly recommend the castle for your stay in Inverness. Thank you Chris, we had a wonderful time.

The cat was a little shy. Would have liked some cuddles with Patch.

Breakfast was outrageous! Both in terms of the amount of food and the quality. If you're coming here after a hiking trip where you've been calorie-deprived and eating bland freeze-dried meals....the breakfast alone is worth it :) Chris is an excellent host who went above and beyond. Would stay here again. 10/10.

Chris was a great host, made us feel right at home and was very kind and helpful. The room, amenities and breakfast were all great. Everything was organized nicely and our stay was comfortable. Even though it's located on the other side of the bridge, the walk from the train station isn't bad at all (Abt 15 mins). There's also a small convenience store around the corner open till 10 pm in case you're coming back late and need to pick something up.

Chris is very friendly, so is his sweet cat! The location is good, we could walk to the City Center easily. We could find parking spot in front of the house easily. Breakfast was excellent!

Nothing to complain about!

Very friendly and welcoming. Chris helped us already with the preparation of our trip, recommend restaurants (which we booked and enjoyed), and was always there when we had a question. Spotlessly clean place. Newly fitted room and brand new bathroom with spacious shower. Well lit bathroom, fluffy towels. High quality bedding with beautiful design. Absolutely quiet, we slept very well. Free tea, sodas and Whisky! Extensive breakfast with wide choice of classic and also vegetarian options. No wishes left open. Everything was prepared just for us, fresh and hot. The location is within walking distance of some good restaurants (The Kitchen, Mustard Seed, Rocpool) and the river. Approximately 15 min from main bus station (if arriving from airport) and main train station. We will gladly come again.

I think someone else has mentioned the lighting in the bathroom needs improvement but there are some imminent renovations coming to the Castle

During the lead-up to our stay Chris kept us informed with updates about what we needed to know. The location is a matter of ten or fifteen minutes from the train and bus stations. Central Inverness is right there. Our room was well equipped and well supplied. Breakfast was delicious and “custom”. Patches the wonder cat kept us all safe. A relaxed stay with wonderful weather.

Was located close to the city center. Beautiful walk over the bridge. Chris was very accommodating to my food allergies. He really want above and beyond to make sure I had what our room had chocolates and whiskey . Our room was very roomy comfortable . I would definitely love to stay there again.
