Only place to eat in town was the hotel retardant and prices were very expensive and limited menu options. Although a cute little town, there really was not much to do. Good for a one night stop.

Beautiful hotel. Charming rooms. Free parking. Good breakfast. Great staff. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Loved the little extras in the room.

Absolutely everything, the place itself was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had a 3 course Sunday lunch and breakfast, could not fault anything about this or the place at all.

From entering the Boars head we were greeted by Ross (barman) and regular Lee like we were old friends. Automatically put at ease. Lee was a lovely friendly guy who lived locally. From what we could initially see, the hotel was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Ross showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know. We were away for our wedding anniversary and our daughter had called ahead and arranged a lovely treat for us in our room which the staff organised. The room was stunning and these owners have thought of literally everything, Coffee machine and a massive selection of pods, teabags etc. A complimentary nip of whisky and a fridge with fresh milk and mini bar. We ate at the hotel restaurant on the 1st evening and waitress Susie told us what the soup, fish of the day was etc with such passion you could tell she totally believed in the quality of the food and she was right, it was outstanding. Chef Gordon knows his stuff. Was such a relaxed atmosphere in this stunning hotel. Bed super comfy, shower was the best ever, don’t think in a hotel you ever get better than your shower at home due to water pressures etc but it honestly was. Breakfast was lovely with huge attention to detail again and you could tell only the best of ingredients were used, huge options of breakfast juices and coffees, tea etc. after spending the day out we decided we wouldn’t get a better a meal than back at the hotel and again we wasn’t disappointed. Susie once again was amazing and knowledgeable. Had a few drinks in the bar before retiring for the night. Gutted knowing we were going home the next day. David was very chatty at breakfast on our last morning telling us on my asking how they started the hotel and its inspirational how hard they have worked to create the amazing hotel they have today and him and Justyna should be so proud of what they have achieved. So engaging and friendly with their guests. We honestly can’t wait to return.

There are no words that could describe the extent of how wonderful this hotel is. The rooms were impeccable, food excellent and customer service outstanding. We stayed with two dogs who were well looked after by the team at the boars head. The bed must have been one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, including my own. We had dinner in the award winning restaurant on one of the evenings, the food was out of this world, especially the venison. Ross had excellent customer service and recommended great dishes to us. The team were on hand to give recommendations on things to do during the days and were able to support us with finding great adventures for us and our pups. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Stunning rooms, exceptional staff. Warm, friendly and easy going. The meals were awesome. If I had to rade them, they will get 10/10. They were so helpful and understanding. We will be back for sure, this time with our dogs. If anyone wants a perfect hotel, they don't have to look further.

Superb wee gem in a quiet Fife village. Beautifully refurbished to a vey high standard throughout. Room was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. Super comfy bed and great shower. The food at dinner and breakfast were first class and above all the staff were so pleasant and attentive. Lauren was a star .. so friendly and on the ball. Such a memorable stay. Highly recommended.

We were blown away by the whole experience , from the room to the food and the hospitality shown by all staff we even met the chef , who I have no doubt would absolutely smash a Michelin star , all the homely touches attention to detail and sooo dog friendly ......special to mention to Susie who served everyone all night and with a. Massive smile and you can tell she loves her job ❤️, our bed was out of this world my husband is a snorer ....not a sound did he make lol , would.love to add more photos but these personal touches omg

My wife and I stayed for one night in the newly renovated rooms at the Boar’s Head and everything was excellent - beautifully appointed and finished room and furnishings and lovely little touches such as a dram of local whiskey and homemade shortbread in the room. The food is exceptional- we had a lovely dinner and cocktails that evening, followed by a delicious made to order breakfast the following morning- all utilising amazing local Scottish produce. The welcome received from all staff throughout our stay was of the highest standard and we really hope to visit again soon.

The fact we only stayed one night :)

The owners and staff were excellent could not do enough for you. The property, rooms, bar etc. were all clean. The bedrooms were absolutely stunning and well designed. We did get a discount online, however, the full price is most definitely worth it. We had Sunday dinner, which price-wise wasn't expensive, but worth so much more, and tasty, we could not fault anything we had. Breakfast was amazing myself, partner and friends enjoyed it. Sadly I wasn't quite 100% so could not eat it all (a bit too much veeno!). We would definitely go back :)
