See above! Also thought there was a car park, but wasn’t and had to buy a voucher and find a space near the hotel, thankfully I was able to park nearby, but would of been a nightmare if I couldn’t!

Unfortunately we thought we were getting a English cooked breakfast, but it was continental!

The room was not ready or cleaned from the previous occupants after we were issued with the key and we went to the room. The receptionist grabbed a trolley and commenced changing the bed and the bathroom cleaning. She was very apologetic as it was not her fault. The lift had a “do not use” notice on it. The reception advised that it was ok to use despite the notice. She explained that they had some trouble with it but they were monitoring it. We did use it as my wife cannot climb the stairs. There was only Continental Breakfast and no bar in the hotel.

The cleanliness of the room we stayed in was not up to standards really. Lots of left over food,crumbs and rubbish from previous guests.

Very tall ceilings in the room with the curtains going to the top which were difficult to pull together properly. I suspect the curtain track was faulty but it was no real problem. No shower gel or soap but hand wash provided.

I stayed one night. The hotel was recommeded by a friend. It was on the seafront and my room had a sea view, which I enjoyed. The hotel staff were excellent, the room was good and bed was comfortable. All was good.

Rooms is looking a bit unkempt with cracks, badly painted skirting boards with gaps in and carpets needing a bit of attention.

Stayed here many times in the past. Central location is good for us. Always clean and welcoming.

It was rather tatty and is in need of renovation. There was no bar where we could have sat and relaxed with a beer or glass of wine. They had a fridge selling bottled beer and other drinks but it’s just not the same.

Location was great. It was on the sea front and close to bars and restaurants. The staff were cheerful and polite and extremely helpful. The Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and Nancy made sure we had a plentiful supply. She was jovial and friendly and was a delight.

The building is a bit dated, but an effort has been made to improve it. Could do with more regular cleaning of the windows. Problem with toilet cistern filling. Staff on arrival not helpful when trying to sort breakfast for the next morning.

It was a lovely sized room with a sea view and well laid out. Beds comfortable and shower ok, although not a power shower. Good breakfast. Staff in the morning were extremely helpful and friendly.
