The parking although not far away is not on site.

The room was very nicely furnished and a lot larger than I expected. The hotel itself had an excellent pub like bar. The restaurant was very spacious and had plenty of of character.

I would say a was a little pricey for the room , inflated prices due to demand for the festival

In a great setting. Close to where we needed to visit. Hot air balloon festival . Breakfast was delicious . Staff were lovely.

The doors to the bathroom were very loud when you opened them with automatic lights that come on when you walk in, so not ideal if you need the loo in the middle of the night without waking your partner up. The shower head (not the main one but the 2nd one) didn't stay up on its own so I had to hold it which was a bit annoying. The pillows were a bit thin.

The staff were really lovely, we were staying over my birthday and my husband had arranged with the staff to bring me a little birthday cake at breakfast and sang happy birthday, it was very sweet! We got a really good price, and is a really great spot between Bristol and Bath. Lovely area, with a lovely little walk nearby. The room itself was lovely with tea and coffee making facilities. I would recommend staying here for sure.

The only thing the room was a bit hot, but there was a fan that we put in the window that helped a lot

The property is in this quaint village absolutely beautiful. The rooms were good. Bathroom was great nice and big. The breakfast was superb. The Sunday roast was amazing. We had a wedding at Folly Farm. Very close. Five minutes away. It was perfect. Would definitely come back.

Very hot room and amazingly noisy overnight. We did stay during a heat wave so in normal circumstances I’m sure it would have been a very comfortable stay.

Very helpful, friendly staff. Food was lovely and well presented. Nice room, clean and with good facilities

Nothing much around the village, a bit out of the way. Very warm room, no heating on and unable to open windows more. I think we were above the kitchen.

Hospitality was very good and helpfull

The room was very warm - there was no aircon and the windows were tricky to open. We decided not to open them due to road noise. Otherwise the facilities were excellent.

We had an evening meal when we arrived. There was no problem getting a table even though they were busy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and was lovely.

Disappointed with our evening meal. The Fish and Chips were overcooked. I had a chicken thigh burger and asked for no bun or chips, but instead extra salad, I was charged 4.50 for the extra salad which was just leaves.

Lovely big room, great village, nice atmosphere. Lovely outdoor seating area. Very nice breakfast.

Excellent standard of rooms. Not suitable for people with mobility issues due to metal stairs to room. Unfortunately, we arrived too late for a meal this time, which was a disappointment as food previously Excellent

I have stayed there before and this time I was disappointed with the ensuite bathroom as it was open plan just off the bedroom and the toilet was in a cupboard! I did get a very good price for the 1 night stay but it wasn't clear on the booking.com site that the bathroom would be as it was.

We spent just 1 night there as flying early the next day from Bristol Airport and enjoyed a very nice dinner there.

You have to park the car in the local village car park however there is a back lane from the property to the car park. When leaving late or very early though it is very dark and I had to use the torch on my phone to find the way.

Really nice food and a friendly welcome awaits you here. The rooms were clean and had everything you could want.

The guest house is located in a charming village, and the room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. I’m so glad I discovered this place and would love to return again in the autumn.

Comfy village pub. Nicely decorated room with very comfortable bed. Extras including tea, coffee, etc. in the room. Very tasty food, although a bit pricy. Free parking out the back. I enjoyed my stay. Rural England has changed.

Closed by arrival time which was before 10pm so no chance for a drink after a 4hr drive. But understand its a small rural village

Beautiful rooms very clean and very helpful, contactless check in at 9.30pm was no problem.
