The property is outstanding. It is set in quiet countryside, but only 20 mins by car from Bude and Launceston. The property is decorated and furnished to a high standard. It was spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly. Breakfast was delicious, with cerials, fresh fruit and a lovely full english. The room we had was the "Barley Room". It was large, tastefully appointed with a large comfortable bed. The Bathroom is en-suite and also large with a deep full sized bath and large walk-in shower. There is ample free parking. Although part of a working farm, it is a wondefully peaceful location, with lovely views over the countryside. There is a good pub restaurant called the Stumble Inn, part of a campsite, that is only two miles up the road, and other pubs and restaurants a few miles further away.

Everything was just perfect. From our arrival until we departed the hosts were brilliant. The room was a great size and bathroom was lovely. A very cozy place which I’d highly recommend. Breakfast was sensational. Definitely will return.

The location in the middle of nature was a dream. The calm after a sightseeing day is just perfect. In the morning a very nicely laid breakfast table is waiting. Breakfast fulfills all wishes and strengthens one for the new day. Thank you Helen and John for the nice experience with you.

There was nothing not to like

The Barn is impeccable in terms of quality, style and comfort whilst retaining its unique and original features. Me and my 14 year old daughter arrived after a very long drive from Manchester and were absolutely delighted as we drove towards the property. First impressions were amazing as we were met by Helen and provided with a tour, tea and local toasted cake, then options for dinner that evening. Our room was beautiful and extremely spacious with top quality tasteful decor and perfectly clean top quality bedding. Then, the breakfast(s). Omg! This for me was the highlight. John cooks up Mitchelin star quality English breakfasts, made with high quality local produce and delivered by Helen who is utterly charming without fail. The little extra touches with fresh eggs and herbs from the farm take this to a whole new level. As we stayed for a week, we were also offered alternative options of smoked salmon and avocado on toast and pancakes - which my daughter loved! We had the most wonderful holiday and The Barn for us was perfect. Helen and John made lots of suggestions for exciting places we could explore which ensured we made the most of every single day in Cornwall. We fell in love with Bude and Padstow and we even called into Clovelly on our way home!!

Nothing everything was Amazing!!!!

John & Helen are fantastic host's, from the moment we booked receiving load's of information from Helen about the surrounding Pub's, Restaurant's and Attractions that might interest us. John & Helen made a fantastic breakfast probably the best we have ever had when travelling and nothing was too much trouble, we had such a relaxing enjoyable stay, in a fantastic room within the amazing barn, that we will be booking again very soon. We have already recommended to our friends and family.

Amazing breakfast with fresh products, adjusted to our needs and dietary restrictions. The Barn is spacious, well-designed and cosy. Our room was comfy, clean and quiet with a beautiful view of a flock of sheep, a garden and a green area. Big bathroom with both a walk-in shower and bathtub. The Hosts were very friendly and gave us some helpful advice. Despite having their duties, they also had time to tell us interesting facts about their farm, renovation project they did, living in Cornwall, history and traveling. The animals there were lovely and sociable! We would love to come back.

Was not used to driving country roads but after a few miles, we got the hang of it and the farm was well sign posted.

Excellent breakfast and wonderful array of options to suit all. Location was easy to find as host reached out prior to our stay and provided directions and recommendations for dining nearby. Helen and John are super friendly hosts as are their friendly farm animals. They also offered to give us a tour of the farm which was one of the highlights of our stay! Will definitely go back again next time in Cornwall.

Fabulous setting in the heart of the countryside. So quiet and peaceful. Amazing property with lots of space in all the rooms. Breakfast was the best and cooked to perfection by host John. Helen made us very welcome and nothing was any trouble for them 10/10

Exceptionally well converted barn, comfortable super king bed, luxury en-suite. Breakfast was fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals followed by cooked breakfast and toast. Consistently well prepared/cooked and very tasty. Helen and John were excellent hosts.
