This inn was really pretty and offered a great overnight stop for us. The restaurant and bar downstairs was great and the staff very friendly. Small breakfast buffet to help yourself too was a nice bonus.

The room opposite the kitchen is too noisy. The door was open and you could hear the music playing.

A lovely, little hotel. Out first room didn't really meet our expectations as it was next to the kitchen and quite basic but I asked if we could move and they were very accommodating. The second room (on the top floor) was really nice. The pub downstairs was good with nice food.

No parking, although free parking is 2 minute walk away, although this could not be helped due to location. Our room was right next to kitchen so you could hear everything happening in kitchen until around 10pm

Great location not far from Edinburgh airport. Lovely pub/restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly, they couldnt do enough for you

The breakfast wasn’t much to be desired and I’ve never had my breakfast in bed, would be great to perhaps have a breakfast time for in the restaurant.

Lovely pub, great location perfect for what we needed, great pub food!

The inn is located in an adorable town outside of Edinburgh that is easily reached by bus. The first floor is a bar and restaurant and we enjoyed sitting in the backyard of the restaurant with a whiskey from their extensive list. The bedrooms were very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. A small range of breakfast items were provided for us to take back to our room at any time in the morning. The staff were so lovely as well!

Whilst there is a grab and go breakfast available (cereal, croissants) and there are kettles in the room, it would be fab if they offered a proper breakfast or brunch downstairs, or even made a coffee machine available (even if at a cost). I knew this before I arrived and I ended up getting coffees from the very helpful Indian Restaurant over the road (who serve breakfast too), but it would be hugely welcome to have breakfast available at the inn. However, this in no way negatively impacted our stay which was 10/10.

10/10. The whole place is great and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are lovely (albeit there is quite a difference between the different sizes), and there is a great pub garden terrace out the back. Food in pub looked fab too.

We stayed at the Inn over New Years which meant it was a little more expensive than normal but such a lovely place to stay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were celebrating a birthday and, on request, they put a card, balloons and wine (paid for) in the room ahead of us arriving. The room was comfy and clean, the shower was lovely, warm and big. There was the option to have a continental style breakfast each morning and fresh coffee from the bar. The food was the best pie we had all week and the bus stop into Edinburgh was barely a 30 second walk away.

Very friendly staff! Wonderful room with big and comfortable bed. Dinner in the Inn was great and very well priced. Great selection of 'grab and go' breakfast set out when leaving the next morning! Only about 20 minutes drive to Edinburgh. I would definitely stay again!

Parking is not on the property, but it's free and just a 1-2 minute walk away. You can also pop into the shop to grab some snacks or something for your room.

We didn't expect the inn to be better than some of the hotels we've stayed in. The staff is super nice, and if you're looking for dinner, there's a good selection of dishes available.

No parking so it was hard to lug suitcases around the street. Noise from the kitchen was there but we were warned about it.

Loved the styling in the room, it felt very cosy. The bed was fantastic. We enjoyed dinner and drinks in the downstairs pub. Breakfast that was supplied was very generous and fresh.

    More choice with continental breakfast.

Lovely pub and the rooms were of a high standard of cleanliness and facilities. Breakfast limited choice and you help yourself from the first floor landing. That said I would stay again and recommend. The food in the pub was excellent.
