It served us a purpose but thought it was very expensive for such a small room and en-suite cupboard

Room was very small . En-suite was tiny and claustrophobic. Tired breakfast room .

    Cozy room . Friendly staff.

This was the perfect location in town! It was close to everything and parking was reasonably accessible. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful lower level room with its own balcony that was perfectly romantic!

I’m getting too old for all the stairs. I think I need a place with a lift.

The room we were allocated was called The Den......and that's exactly what it was i.e. very small and poor shower facilities.

Perfectly placed hotel to visit all aspects of St Andrews. Welcoming and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

Church bells throughout the night and noisy seagulls - which I understand is not within the hotels control. Old property so noise was a bit of an issue. We did have a great time though.

Great location, clean, comfortable. Food great. Lovely beer garden and reasonably priced drinks.

The water pressure was lacking a bit and the shower heads needed some cleaning. Breakfast was served nicely but would be nice if they specified that each person could only order 1 type of hot dish as we were unaware of this and tried to ask for another dish. Variety of breakfast was also lacking variety (buffet style section only consisted of yoghurt, one type of ham and cheese, a few pastries and cereal)

The rooms were very tidy and clean. Frontdesk staff was eager to help us arrange transport while leaving and attend to our request if possible. Location was superb if you are there for graduation at St Andrews, literally across the road. We didn’t get enough time to enjoy the private garden but seems really comfy

    1. Diminutive room. Probably ideally suited for one person, not a couple. Ask for another room if assigned to Rm 11. Its location is suboptimal. 2. Parking. If you arrive before 1700, you either get lucky or drive around. Parking accessibility improves after 1700. Parking is street parking.

    1. Location. Everything within easy walking distance. 2. Breakfast. Excellent service and food.

The location was great and staff extremely friendly. It is hard to give a true picture as the hotel is being renovated. Our room was SO cold when we entered. The hotel is tired in places but imagine the renovations will be pleasing and make improvements.

I felt the room and bathroom was quite small for what we paid. The room could do with a freshen up but refurb was underway in the hotel.
