Shower wasn't very powerful and the head kept flopping down so we had to hold it whilst showering.

The setting and location, central for everywhere. Plenty of parking too.

Breakfast was okay but could have been hotter.

Lovely staff. Beautiful location. We had a problem with a noisy pipe in our room and were given a complimentary upgrade for our second night.

It was a very enjoyable stay and apart from the breakfast, everything about the hotel was good. Thank you to the staff.

The self-service breakfast was disappointing. Sorry. One of the staff kindly agreed to have a poached egg cooked for me as the scrambled egg was hard, had blue colouring (?) and the fried eggs looked greasy. The mushrooms didn’t taste fresh - more likely tinned. The poached egg was freshly cooked (which I appreciated) but had little flavour and the yolk was pale yellow. The milk in the hot drinks machine tasted as if it was UHT (I had chosen a latte) and the coffee had no flavour, but there was fresh milk for those drinking tea or americano coffee. It was such a shame because we were looking forward to our Sunday breakfast.

The location was excellent; friendly, welcoming, very helpful and obliging staff; room with a view; clean and comfortable. The Reception staff kindly allowed us to leave our campervan in the hotel car park after we’d checked out, for an hour or two which was much appreciated. Thank you.

The hotel is 'tired'. I chose it because I stayed frequently when travelling on business a decade ago. The rooms badly need refurbishment and the self service breakfast doesn't compare to the individually cooked food we experienced in other less expensive hotels during the week.

The location is excellent with good car parking.

No fridge in the room. Only one bottle of water provided, not refreshed on subsequent days. The fantastic bartender provided pints of iced water to take up to the room. Breakfast was ok. The melon slices were very small, mostly rind. At the times I was at the hot plate, the eggs had become hard and rubbery, unlucky timing. The most disappointing was the appalling, machine dispensed coffee. It tasted of slightly off milk with no coffee flavour at all. The breakfast isn’t cheap, so a jug of freshly brewed coffee brought to the table should not be impossible. The shower cubicle in my daughter’s bathroom was extremely small. Luckily she is petite and just about managed to fit in. A larger person would have struggled. The water was too hot to use, even on the lowest setting. Maintenance responded very quickly to a request to adjust the thermostat. The outcome was that it was then stuck on cold and could not be changed. Luckily the weather was hot, so a cold shower was ok. Hopefully this can be addressed.

Walking distance to restaurants. Attractive setting next to the priory. Spacious, comfortable room, a little old fashioned. Good coffee machine in the room, as well as kettle. Fans were provided to mitigate the unusually hot weather, but still too hot for sleeping. Air conditioning could be put on the development plan. Comfortable, social bar with a very friendly and competent bar tender. The dinner menu was good, particularly the ice cream sundae.

There was a lot of footfall past the room and weddings were audible from the rooms above, so I would recommend a higher floor in the main building for those wanting an early night or a lie in.

Convenient centrally located hotel close to Priory and quaint shops with excellent breakfast, parking spaces and friendly staff. My room was in the modern annex of the hotel; it was clean and a decent size with a comfortable bed. Staff were professional and friendly, accommodating our large family group in the restaurant and storing cases on the last day.

The weather was great but there didn't seem to have a terrace where you could sit and have a drink. There were areas outside with tables and chairs but they didn't seem to be utilised.

Great location for walking into Malvern. Very picturesque views and the hotel was picturesque in it's own right. Room was large and comfortable. Great bed and breakfast was very good.

Nothing to dislike on our last visit, we've booked again as it's great for Malvern Theatres, the Abbey and Malvern shopping, all a short enjoyable walk away.

A favourite hotel which seems to be improving, although getting pricier.
