The owners have been very thoughtful in decor, facilities and layout. Nice touches like milk and water in the fridge. Even had a teapot. BUT NO BISCUITS! Very convenient location

United KingdomParking worked for us but isn’t attached to the hotel. Parking is free Saturday evening and all day Sunday near the hotel. Tap in our bathroom was loose but everything was beautifully designed and the attention to detail was super.

FranceMore communication (or some) would have been good. Very few instructions on the property. The whole thing is run as minimalistically as possible. A note from someone to say 'hope you have arrived ok and everything is in order.' It all felt very impersonal.I did not know if room was going to be cleaned and it was not. The room is over the market place in Henley and can be noisy. The widows are not double glazed. There is a bath in the room. It looks nice but it is a bit of a gimmick. A sofa would have been more useful. Near the door there is a bright green light with no way of turning it off.
Overall decor in the room is good. Provisions were good - some milk and good tea. A biscuit or two would have been a good touch though and as the room was not cleaned the bottled water was not replaced and it ran out.

ItalyParking - the suggested car parks have a 3 hr maximum stay from 8am til 6pm, which is not great if you are not going anywhere. I think you can probably park at the station for longer but it’s expensive and further away. It was also a tiny bit cold in the room, although the radiators were on fully. It was cold outside and the radiators just about managed to keep up - only just.
The townhouse is in the heart of Henley, so you can walk to any restaurant, shop and bar and enjoy this lovely town. The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay there again.
