United KingdomIf I had to be really petty maybe the outside lighting was a bit bright in our room. Maybe as we were at the end of the block we got lights on 2 sides but it was not really an issue.
The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were polite and very helpful. We stayed 2 nights the breakfast selection was incredible, I had a full English the first morning and a proper whole kipper on the second morning. We had dinner here 2 nights and the food was amazing. Located right next to Tarr steps, we walked during the day and visited Tarr steps early morning and evening when the day trippers had gone home. Altogether a fantastic stay. One of the best places I have ever chosen on Booking.com.

The Inn was lovely and peaceful and despite booking a single room, which can sometimes be small and pokey, the room was spacious and welcoming. The bathroom was well stocked and the biscuits were a nice touch! The breakfast was lovely, both in terms of quality and quantity. Thank you for a great stay.

The location is unique, being so close to Tarr Steps. Our room was large and airy, the staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pub and restaurant have been thoughtfully modernised whilst remaining characterful.
