There was a large wet spot on the rug outside the bathroom door. I didn’t discover it until I had unpacked and removed my shoes! At first I just assumed someone had spit cleaned the rug and used a towel to try and sop it up, but it was bigger the next morning. We told reception and they had someone check it- they think it was pipe leaking under the floor. They did not offer to move us even though the wet spot was larger the second day - I should have insisted on it. Supposedly they will investigate further after our checkout. Also, only one elevator working, but they had sent a message about that before check in so it was expected. There was also scaffolding below us on the building- with the wind whipping, it could be noisy!

The room was large and very comfortable. There is AC. We were charged for parking. We didn’t eat there, so I can’t comment on breakfast.

Staff was great especially the lady that checked me in was very helpful and kind gave me the right rooms for my family stay. The pillows!! Dreadful, hypoallergenic (which is what we requested) but go really compressed and hard! The windows are draughty and noisy, going to be an issue with winter at the seaside, high winds etc. Really requires changing for new!

The pool is not open and the fitness room could do with a little more diversity. The restaurant suffered quite a delay on the evening I was there. Building works all around the hotel but not noisy.

Checking in time was 3pm, we asked for a 2pm check in time and received an email confirming this. We arrived at approximately 2.30pm only to be told the room wasn't ready, we went to the bar for a coffee to wait, we eventually got the room key at 3.45pm, and only then after we had chased the reception. Not a good start, but as it was only a holiday break, it wasn't a problem. Breakfast was good. There was a good selection of food although the quality of cooked food did vary from day to day, somedays it was undercooked, others slightly overcooked, overall though it was acceptable. We ate an evening meal here once, and it was good, nothing amazing, but good, although a little expensive for what it was. The room was clean, and plenty big enough for the two of us. The room did get warm at night so we turned on the air-con, however, it was very noisy. The bathroom fan was also running constantly, so the door had to be kept closed to avoid the noise during te night. Location was fantastic! There were a number of excellent restaurants located within a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and it was only a casual, 20 minute walk to the city centre, and less than 10 minutes to the Swansea arena. Overall, I would stay again, especially if I could find discounted prices somewhere.

Tiny double bed! 🫣 Also, are some people preparing breakfast in the parking area. See the pictures attached. It is so strange for using fire on the communal areas of the hotel.Looking unsafe for me to see that hotel offering breakfast and the guests, they can do their own breakfast in the car park.

My only one complaint was the bed was not very comfortable I don’t like a firm mattress I fix struggle to sleep. The air conditioner is very loud

Cleaner walked in after 2 quick knocks. It was only 9:40. I didn’t have time to open the door and got to the door as he walked in. We had not checked out.

The Lifts were not working on my visit which I did feel not great, I did manage with the stairs , but felt for others who would find it harder without lift. Not great. on this otherwise all good

Breakfast price seems waaaaay too expensive! (£15/16pp)

Booked family room for one night which had 2 good sized double beds. The hotel itself seems a bit on the old side but seems to have been refurbished. Quick, friendly check in even though we had only booked one hour before. Car park is massive and we were charged only £5. Location is excellent being just beside Swansea bay. Hotel is easy to get to off main road. Room was good. Air con was good (although initially there was a musty smell coming from it) and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was reasonable size and was fine. Nice modern TV which had variety of channels. We were on 2nd floor overlooking harbour area, which was a lovely view. Very quiet, no disturbances at all. Needed extra towel which was brought up to room very quickly.

Ladies toilet in foyer poor, three of the five wc’s did not flush, only one lift was working and there was no air conditioning in the room.
