Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I booked a room at the last minute and it was fantastic! Excellent communication with Vladimir before arriving and amazing hospitality given from arrival to departure. It's a beautiful house. I would definitely go back and recommend the guest house!

A very good place in a good location. The owner provided a dog bed for our pet at no cost. Surprisingly, we got a free room upgrade for one with a personal bathroom.

Easy to find, welcoming host who was friendly, approachable, kind and accommodating. Felt like a home, relaxed and easy. Perfect location for access to the Elizabeth Line. Beautiful garden - this really made me smile 😊

The beds were very comfortable. It’s a very quiet place in a very quiet neighborhood.

Can still hear the traffic but it wasn’t too bad if the windows were insulated better or upgraded to double glaze it would boost the insulation for warmth and noise

We had no problems at all
It was near the airport, very comfortable room with lots of little touches to make it nicer and of course Vladimir was lovely, walking us to the underground, so we wouldn’t get lost and helping us with our luggage. Perfect overnight when you have a flight the next day.

Car parking can be tricky in the week but we managed it.
It was near the airport and met our needs for a short overnight stay. It was clean and comfortable and the host did his best to look after us.

This is a wonderful place to stay! It is close to Heathrow, with easy access. Parking is secure. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the proprietors are very friendly and welcoming.

Really, nothing. I wouldn't advise this for a long London stay, as it's on the outskirts. But if you have a layover and want to leave the airport to sleep, it's perfect.
This was a perfect place to stay during a Heathrow layover. It's in a not-too-exciting suburb, which is just what I wanted: a comfortable and quiet place to sleep, an uncrowded area to go for a walk, and a nearby restaurant (The Griddle) that cooked me a big vegan English breakfast. Robert, the proprietor, was very welcoming and advised me on a walking route that included greenspace and a historic gatehouse and church. The bed was comfortable and had a good reading light.

There's nothing particularly bad about it.
I chose this hotel because I had an early morning flight. Although my stay was short, the staff was very kind, they upgraded me to a room with a private shower and even got up early in the morning to take me to the bus stop to the airport. The room was very clean, quiet, warm and comfortable. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike.
Large, comfortable and warm upstairs room. Large TV, tea-making facilities. Period house, very clean, well-furnished room and en suite. Good night's sleep. Excellent host, very welcoming, nothing too much trouble, shared some useful travel tips. Easy car parking. Close to West Drayton station (5 mins walk) for access to central London. Quiet, suburban neighbourhood, local shops nearby. Would recommend.
