Restaurant/Bar were both unavailable during my visit, and no coffee in the room, nor anyone on reception in the morning to ask if there was any. Lack of pluigs by the desk or next to the bed. Didnt try the WIFI but 4G signal was good enough to stream and work. Overall for the price paid, and the time i spent in the room, it was fine, nothing special, but did what i needed.

Room was large, bed enormous and it had a good size desk for getting some work done.

The room hadn’t been hoovered, there were sewing needles on floor and food. Walls in need of some love. Air con didn’t work. Fan was filthy. This sort of stuff is hotel basics

To give a better first impression , outside areas need clearing of rubbish and weeds but this didn’t affect our stay. Could do with a set of extra pillows for the bed. (Personal preference)

For the price of the rooms you can’t grumble. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Decent amount of tea, coffee & sugar provided. Constant good flow of hot water. Easy check in & you can come & go 24/7

Garden outside was stroon with litter that has been there a ling time.Breakfast staff were not that helpful and when asked if porridge could be microwaved we just got a blank look so had an alternative and then fund the microwave............... Old and tired decor.

This place is very tired looking, both inside and out. They are trying hard to upgrade but I think it will take a while. A lot needs to be done. Still a slight cigarette smell throughout.

Good price. Value for money. Very good price for breakfast, only £4.99 for a cooked breakfast. If you don't expect a Travelodge even, then you get what you pay for. Friendly staff. Beds are very comfortable and the water pressure is strong and hot. Quite clean.

A dirty toilet that didn’t flush at all. Reported to Reception on departure. No decaf tea or decaf coffee. Would have been cleaner and more hygienic if the tea making things were on a tray

family room. no towel or pillow provided for baby... bathroom needed updating no plugs for bath or sink. dont believe in hospital corners on beds but tucked underneath mattress would of been nice... outdoor spaces around hotel needs major work. sitting areas outside very dirty tables not been cleaned.. waste bins in carpark overflowing. not just one but all of them in fact waste blowing around carpark. big shame hotel and grounds must of been lovely at one stage.. again staff made our stay couldn't do enough for us. extra pillows and towels.when asked for.. breakfast ok. but 4.99 was about all you should of paid. no bar at night which was a shame heard 2 or 4 guests on arrival ask about opening times. would think that bar in this kind of hotel and location would take money.

There is only 1 negative I could think of, and that is from the outside it looked a bit messy and overgrown. It was a shame because there is some garden furniture you could utilise and have a nice evening sitting outside. Just a bit of garden TLC and weedkiller would solve it.

It was a very good location with easy access to main roads and routes. The hotel was clean, tidy, well presented, and well set out inside. The room was clean, comfortable, and quite spacious with a comfy bed, a nice bathroom, and a decent shower. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was really nice too. Everything you needed for an enjoyable stay.
