Nothing.

The owners were friendly and welcoming, helpful with advice on local transport. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was a kettle for making hot drinks and a television. The bathroom had everything I needed; soap, body cream. a shower cap and gel with shampoo and conditioner. It was lovely to have a sitting room upstairs where I could relax, try some of the homemade cake. There was a good variety of things to eat for breakfast which was delicious. It was lovely to get to know some of the people staying there.

There was nothing to dislike about my stay.

Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice. Fresh milk available not uht and lots of add on’s eg. Little butter dishes, orange juice pots . Toiletries supplied. Separate lounge with tea, coffee, cake and an honesty box if you wanted a drink e.g. wine, beer, spirits.

Everything was great. Nothing to dislike.

Sunnyside was very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed..a great selection of toiletries/shower/body products, make up cloth, shower cap and even slippers and a robe..which I appreciated alot as a solo traveller and hiker. I was even able to borrow a trekking pole. Breakfast was delicious and had really great options. And I enjoyed a local beer from the honesty bar as a treat! When I arrived I was first greeted by one of their 2 cats, which I was very happy about, and the owners are really friendly and helpful 😊

The bedroom doors can be quite loud when people push/pull them closed. I only found this an issue though when people get back to their rooms late though.

The breakfasts were amazing! So much to choose from & cooked perfectly by Paul & served by Nicky The evening meal I had was delicious & as a solo traveller a bonus rather than wander around looking for somewhere you think you could walk into. Having parking spaces over the front of the property is a definite bonus & being able to park prior to check in if there is a space & leave car for an hour or so after check out.

There was nothing I didn’t like about my stay except it would have been great to be able to stay longer than the week I booked.

We felt at home, Nicky and Paul lovely friendly host . Lovely getting back to the room after walk/day out. Peaceful, Cosy ,cosy cosy.

Nothing to dislike

Everything. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, everything you could need in your room. Tea, coffee, fridge, iron and ironing board, hair dryer. Lots of info for the area in your welcome pack in your room.

Not a thing. Perfect stay

Great central location but far enough away to be quiet. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and the hosts were absolutely lovely! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Hosts were wonderful nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and evening meals were superb. Little extra touches in Sunnyside also made the stay special. Requested a pack up for our long journey home again superb Location close to town centre. Definitely be back..

What a fabulous property! Such a gem in Keswick. It was very clean, the owners were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ensure you enjoyed your stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I’ll definitely be back. It was the little details that really made it special. A mini fridge in the room for your fresh milk, mint cake for the long walks, communal space with an honesty box for drinks and cake as well as a very needed tower cooling fan for the hot weather. Honestly, it was just such a treat to stay here.

I can’t find any fault with this property.

My room was beautiful, well equipped & had a fridge, complimentary beverages, fresh milk. There is a welcoming guest lounge with books, games and freshly made cake for an honesty donation. Great selection for breakfast.

Cosy rooms. Very much liked the common room with comfy chairs and sofas to relax. Amazing couple who did everything to make the stay as pleasant as possible.

Wifi is very patchy, and car park is very small, but nothing you can do about it so not too bothered.

Owners were great, friendly, helpful, and very informative. The location was in the centre of Keswick and everything that we wanted was on the doorstep. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
