We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomCould do with some air on as there are limited windows to open and it does get stuffy, bathroom floor is as extremely slippy, easily sorted by putting a towel down. It can also get quite noisy when people are walking above the apartments during the night

United KingdomThe gate leading to the path of apartment was nearly ready to fall off. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t had a proper clean for quite a while, thus was evident with the level of limescale and soap residue around the taps and sink. I didn’t see much point of the rather large clock on the wall considering it was missing the minute hand There was still washing in the washing machine. Sorry to highlight these, but hope it’s useful information to maybe improve the standards for future guests.

United KingdomThe plumbing in the kitchen and bathroom was poor. The owner wildly accused me of wrecking his kitchen sink drain. How absurd, unwarranted and preposterous. The parts were not assembled and no sealant was used. We live and learn.
The tv worked well. The firm sofa next to the bed was great.

FranceArrived in pouring rain. Made to wait in the rain finally asked if I had the code. Had difficulty opening the gate eventually got into the alley. Spent ages trying to access the key. Had to ask the tenant to help, remember I am still in the rain. When she comes back she tells me that the code had changed. She had trouble retrieving the key but I got in. TV, no bbc or itv. Kept buffering.
