The listing states sofa bed in dining room, unfortunately this isn't true. There is a very worn sofa bed in the lounge. We had relied on the dining room being a bedroom so we had to buy a blow up mattress for the week which wasn't ideal. The lounge is a wonderful room with a spectacular view, unfortunately there was not enough seating for everyone to sit comfortably and the sofas really do need replacing. It's a shame because it could be a wonderful space for everyone to relax together. The beds are not comfortable, only 1 pillow per bed, towels are tiny and no mirrors in the bedrooms. All small things but really make a difference. Also, just to note the garden is not enclosed but I recognise it is not advertised as such.

The location is excellent with many options to explore both Northumberland and the Scottish Borders,a beautiful part of the world. The house is amazing, so spacious and light and has a really lovely feel to it. WiFi excellent and kitchen really well equipt. It's also a lovely and warm house despite it's size so unfortunately we had no need to use the log burner. The showers are brilliantly powerful and the huge bath was a real treat. We had a fabulous week away.
