A little confusing with 2 streets named Clyde Street in the area but clear directions in a message about this from the proprietor's helped.

The breakfast was first class, a super selection of Scottish or local produce, perfectly cooked and presented. We were fortunate to have a bay window table, what a view. A great start to any day!

It's difficult to think of any way in which it could be improved.

There was a broad range of breakfast choice: from full, cooked to cereals. Particularly recommended is the excellent smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and perfect toast! Lesley and Kenny were friendly, helpful and genuine –– not 'corporate friendly'. The hotel was professionally branded', with logo and St Ives mugs, but this wasn't overdone. Everything was clean, tidy and functioning –– including the fast Internet.

This hotel is fabulous from location, its stunning views and owners Kenny and Lesley who are so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. You can take in the tranquil views from breakfast or a seat in the garden. This stunning scenario is amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The pancakes are a definite must but I have to say I had the fluffiest scrambled egg I've ever had. Cannot wait to return.

    Cannot fault it.

A beautiful guest house in a fabulous position overlooking the west bay. Spotlessly clean, comfortable & tastefully decorated. Easy to find with the directions provided, good parking right outside. Lovely outside seating area with sea views. You can walk along the promenade into town, about 10 minutes. Pre-order breakfast the night before, it was absolutely delicious, the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon was amazing.

We booked last minute and the only room left was a double with no view and twin beds that were very narrow - too narrow for a comfortable sleep. Also, when we flushed the toilet the noise was very loud.

Nice hotel with a nice view from the upstairs lodge. Delicious breakfast.

The parking is tight if you are not used to small spaces, but VERY convenient.

The quiet location on the sea, and the experienced host, made our stay wonderful When we didn't get a restaurant booked in time, he offered the lounge for our use with our takeaway dinner. Best table in town!

Low lighting in bedroom, hard to see with a mirror in furthest corner from the window. Absolutely no drawers or shelves or a decent sized table to put anything on. All my items had to go on a chair or the windowsill. Only 4 coat hangars…on a rail fixed to the wall. Glad I brought my own. Very few plug sockets, and very small bedside tables next to the plug, so hard to charge things. This was a Boutique Hotel - so there were no complaints, as I have used small hotels before and there are no frills.

Greeted at the door by a friendly host. Very willing to please and gave us a jug of fresh milk for tea/coffees. Situated overlooking a stunning bay, next to a clean promenade which takes you to the centre of town. The hotel was compact but had free use of a lounge with stunning views. Our room was clean and there was a pull switch light over the sink to use as a night light. Lovely towels and they gave us a bath with fabulous shower. Lovely ensuite built into a box inside the bedoroom. Breakfast booked in advance, an exceptional experience, very good indeed.
