The shower cabin missed on the doors, the TV was connected to an electric plug which was damaged so we had to replace it. The lady behind the bar refused to pour me a pint at 22:55 though the pub was open til 23:00

The room was a nice corner room. The breakfast was pretty good, huge portion and some tasty coffee. They didn't complain about us leaving the room a little bit later than we should.

My room had a slightly odd smell so I looked at the quilt and pillows and to be honest they were not very pleasant and wished I’d not looked! Sheets were spotless tho

The bathroom wasn’t upto a very good standard and awkward to step upto the toilet. We both knocked our toes on the sharp step upto the toilet. The hot tap was loose and swung around so couldn’t use it. We were told that they were waiting for a new shower door so was unusable which wasn’t a problem with only staying for 1 night. I rang the night before to check times of evening meal and was told they didn’t do meals on Wednesday and Thursday evenings but wasn’t mentioned on their website but there was a note on the inside of our bedroom door to say evening meals served Monday to Friday.

Very helpful staff changed the original room for a 1st floor one due to husband unable to climb stairs to the top floor. Clean room and lovely breakfast.

Access to the rooms was by steep stairs and landings which were in need of TLC. Would be a problem for anyone with poor mobility.

Friendly, welcoming, hardworking staff who were very helpful when I had to change my booking last minute. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and bed linen and towels spotless. Shower was warm and good pressure. Short walk with cases from the nearby car park via a pedestrian only path as there is no parking at the property. Easy walk into the town centre.

There is no onsite parking. Had to park opposite in a small lane/road. Parking was difficult to find without contacting the inn.

Everything we needed but looking a bit 'tired'. Not for you if a light sleeper as rather noisy from traffic. We were there in the summer and needed to keep the windows open so probably better with the windows closed

lack of car parking. nearest car park was about 300m away bedroom windows sealed but did not stop all traffic noise no food on Sunday evening so had to drive into town cold water system runs next to the hot so cold was never cold

Needed totally refurb. Carpet well worn coming away from edges. Step up to hand basin was dangerous and hardware on the shower was not secure onto the wall and controls hot too touch . Towels could have been cleaner.

Having to walk up 2 flights of stairs to our room.

The bathroom needs renovation: the shower door and shower holder are broken.

A large, bright room with four single beds, clean and cozy. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and towels. Good Wi-Fi, delicious food in the restaurant, good breakfast, friendly staff. Large parking next to the shopping center for £2 per day.
