Breakfast was ample & varied. The location was central & good, secure car park up a rather potholed lane. Staff were polite & friendly.

    Nothing (apart from the weather!!)

Booked last minute. Great room, very comfortable bed. The shower was one of the best I’ve used in a hotel. Fresh milk for tea in the room in the morning, sooo much better than UHT milk…small thing but for a morning tea lover it was a great touch. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fab. Ham, egg and chips, easy I guess but eggs were runny, ham thick and tasty and the chips amazing 🤩

Stairs do make it challenging with luggage and parking is quite restricted.

Room was lovely and had all facilities covered (iron, hair dryer, fan etc). We had a delicious meal that night and breakfast was great.

Beware of excessive surcharge if you have dogs
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Deluxe Double Room

The £15 per dog per night surcharge was not advertised and is very steep. We have never been charged such a high amount for staying with our 2 dogs and this would put us off booking again. Happy to pay a surcharge for them but not £60 for 2 nights.

Lovely location very old pub full of character

Lovely old building with comfortable, if expensive rooms, in the centre of town.

    • Small Double Room

Breakfast choices very underwhelming. Nothing replenished while we were there and still half an hour of the breakfast ‘window’ to go.

Location in town, staff checking in, comfort of the room allocated.

Evening meal wasn't the best and very pricey. One of our meals had an almost deisal taste suggesting they don't use fresh oil when cooking their fish and then using same oil to drizzle over accompanying veg. We did point this out to them but this was after we had paid. I didn't realise until later on after paying the bill they added on a service charge. This should have been optional. Parking was difficult and the road has very large pot holes, which needs to be attended to.

Very quirky. Lovely place to stay. Central in the market square and an ideal base if you are visiting the area.

Good B&B for short stay in Cotswolds

    - Cleanliness was not the best as we found the cups to be dirty and you had to wonder if they were fresh or simply rinsed and put back on the tea shelf. We had to ask for new glasses and cups the next morning. - There is no mini fridge in the room which we would have preferred over the communal fridge which offers free tap water but in open glass bottles (hygienic?) - The two car parks are very small, fitting about 4-5 cars each and are very difficult to reverse out of. Car Park 2 is the better one. - The hot tap on the sink turns the wrong way which was irritating.

Very central location in the heart of Stow. The B&B offers dog friendly rooms, with ours located at the end of the corridor on the top floor being a blessing as that meant less people were walking past it. The interior was modern, with the Deluxe Room offering a bathtub, and all appliances were fully functional. A fan was provided during the hot weather (a duvet with a lower tog would have been good). The continental breakfast buffet which is included in the price provided a good choice of food (cooked breakfast costs extra). The location is very central, and close to all amenities.

My wife has had new knees and has difficulty with stairs. All rooms are reached by stairs which was a challenge. The bathroom is a shower over the bath - beautiful but a little challenging if you have limited movement.

Extremely comfortable bed and room with a fan and an iron. All excellent. Superb breakfast in a comfortable dining room. Fresh milk in a fridge on the landing for tea/coffee whenever you want - much better than UHT cartons Staff were superb - from front of house to cleaning etc - really professional

Staff were mixed for friendliness. The breakfast staff were great, but there was one girl in the bar who was not particularly welcoming, which meant we often ate out in the evening. Evening menu also a little limited.

Great location and comfortable clean rooms. Rooms were well styled and great idea to have a communal fridge.

    1) Key didnt work for outside door. Ended up locked out of the hotel 6am to 7am without my phone while walking the dog. Please sort the Doe room external key out. 2) A room fan and lower tog duvet would have been useful. 3) Maybe rethink dog frienfly rooms being on the third floor.

Room size, dog-friendly, restaurant food (sunday roast exceptional) and service, free parking, location.

Semantics however the tv mounting could be stiffened so it could be moved, and the wifi was okay in the room but sometimes dropped out (it was the furthest room away from the router however)
