Very clean, close to the beach. The owners were really lovely, very welcoming and accommodating. Willing to offer anything you wanted for breakfast. An all round top place to be.

Having to leave for our homeward journey.

From the moment we stepped across the threshold to this amazing guest house, we were looked after by Annie and Alex.this guest house is filled with love and hard work. We would highly recommend you stay here when visiting Scarborough. Our room was amazing, clean , and comfortable with a lovely hot shower , we loved our breakfast, and my wife opted for porridge while I had the full English, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Annie and Alex are the friendliest of hosts who will make your stay here so enjoyable.

Jasmine 1 A highlight of my trip! Review of St Michael's Guest House Pending review Reviewed I stayed here for a night, and I can easily say this is the best place I’ve ever stayed overnight! I travel for a lot of concerts, and never have I been somewhere as lovely as this, and it’s such a decent price too. The hosts, Alex and Annie are absolutely lovely, and they really make the stay worth it, I felt so welcomed by them. They also had amazing knowledge of the local area which helped me out, and were lovely to speak with :) The room was so clean, and the bed was so comfortable, there was not a single fault I could pick. There was a TV, a shower, a kettle, and absolutely everything worked perfectly! I would also say it’s an amazing location as it’s not far from the train station, and it’s also super close to the North Bay attractions and the town. Finally, I had one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had, those pancakes were unreal and I would absolutely recommend them to anybody if you have the chance. Thank you so much for a lovely stay , it’s a memory, I’ll definitely remember fondly !

It was perfect. The location was ideal as it was only a short stroll to local amenities, the bedroom was a good size and very comfy beds. We would definitely recommend having breakfast, you could choose exactly what you wanted to eat and the quality of the food was very good. More importantly the hosts Annie and Alex made the stay, they were so welcoming and enjoyed our chats at breakfast each morning. I would recommend st Michael's to anybody planning to visit Scarborough. We will definitely be back soon.

I had the best two nights' sleep I had had in a long time. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature of the room perfect. It was warm outside and there was a fan should I have needed it but I was ok. There was plenty of tea and coffee and am sure, had I ran out, then I could have been provided with more. The shower was hot and powerful and the large bathroom had everything anyone needs. I didn't have breakfast because I have a very small appetite and it would have been wasteful. Now the proprietors. Alex and Annie greeted me with a cup of tea and a full explanation of the area. They told me how to get to where I had wanted to go and had a passion for sharing their knowledge of the area. Local information was provided without me having to ask. I didn't see them much but then that was because I went out early and was gone for the day. They both bid me farewell and a safe onward journey. The little touches that you get from an independent business were spot on.

Comfy bed. Alex met us on arrival and was very Informative. Everything you would need in the room re tea coffee, toiletries etc. Perfect location for open air theatre, a few eateries/bars close by. Parking easy at the front of property and permit supplied. Very clean and well presented.
