Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe only thing was it was hard to find a sign but recognized the place after a couple of back and forth trips on the main road and a phone call. It helped that I recognized the place from images on the site
Beautiful rooms and wonderful atmosphere. Great views from every room. Wonderful staff, great breakfast. Host was very warm and welcoming.

United StatesThe name on booking.com is different than the name at the property. It would be helpful if booking.com had the correct name which is Aos Si Lodges. Having a different name did cause some confusion prior to arrival.
Beautiful location with a Lake view. Small town nearby that we could walk to for dinner.

United StatesI didn't realize the tub didn't have a shower head! Showering here rather than soaking in the tub was a challenge but we only stayed for one night.
Beautiful aesthetic of the accommodation. Loved the wallpaper and plaid carpet. Great location and view!

United KingdomWhat a beautiful hotel. Boutique. One of a kind. Even driving past, it stands out on the side of the hill with a beautiful exterior. Inside is even more beautiful. So well renovated. A dream home, and a dream stay.

United StatesThe bathroom is huge and beautiful but just be aware it is private but attached. One has to exit the room into the hallway and it’s right there 3 steps away.
Lovely setting. The room was beautiful, beautifully decorated. We felt like royalty!Bathrobes are a great touch. Really quiet. Great communication prior to arrival and recommendations for dinner so we could make reservations in advance.

It was the perfect getaway in Glencoe- the nature next to it was beautiful, accessible to all the best hikes and the most beautiful part of the glen, and the hosts were lovely- the breakfast was 10/10 and we had to do laundry and they were so helpful with it (along with helping us with our suitcases and niche needs!). I would definitely stay here again next time. We definitely felt like royalty here especially with the aesthetics and the breakfast.

SwitzerlandWe had a private bathroom nextdoor. If you like to have a breakfast (only continental) you have to order it three day in advance and pay for it extra. Location near to a street.

United StatesI loved everything, but I do wish there was a way for the bathroom to be attached to the room. While it is your own private bathroom, you do have to go out into a shared hall. They do provide nice robes so that helps!
This was by far our favorite stay! We stayed here on our wedding night and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The host was so kind and made us feel like we were her long time friends, and it was such a beautiful place! The bed was the most comfortable we slept in our entire trip, my husband still talks about that bed. It was actually a perfect stay!

United KingdomThe views were beautiful, but the nature experience is slightly taken away from the traffic sounds as it is right next to the main highway. The specific room we stayed in was listed as having a “private” bathroom, but was located in the shared corridor rather than attached to the room. We were assured that this specific bathroom was for our use only, though didn’t feel as private having to go into the shared area to access it. Many of the amenities listed are off sight from the location (spa, outdoor adventure, etc), but the team are supportive in getting them booked in for you if you give enough notice.
A perfectly quaint stay just outside of Glencoe! My partner and I stayed in one of the rooms of the main building. The service and owners were amazing and lovely, making us feel welcome from the start. It was more Bed and Breakfast vibes rather than an inn or hotel. It’s in a convenient location and close enough to easily drive to Fort William and the main area of Glencoe, making it a great home-base. The room was very well decorated, giving a fun and cliche Scottish experience. They had complimentary coffee, kettle, and mini fridge set up in the room, making it very comfortable for us. I would definitely recommend this place as a home base for the Glencoe area. The hosts are amazing and it was a very fun experience staying in an older and classically decorated house.
