Well situated 5 minutes to the sea front. Very clean and well presented, and the staff very welcoming. The breakfast was very good and nothing was too much trouble. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Good custom made breakfast, Friendly staff (i,e owners). They are on a mission to grow their business on a win-win basis. Its not cheapest in town, but their service is not cheap either.

We liked everything!

We had a fabulous stay at the St John Guest House in Weymouth. The guest house is well located, a short walk from the train station and close to the beach and restaurants, cafes etc. Our room was lovely – very clean and comfortable with an en-suite bathroom and kettle/mugs for tea/coffee etc. Breakfast is pre-ordered the day before at a time that works for you and cooked to order which was great. The food was delicious and plentiful. The owners, Lynn & Andy, are very welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay and you can see why its award-winning! There is also a guest lounge available for use which was lovely. Weymouth itself has plenty to explore and great facilities for children. The beach is great for families and has good facilities and the summer fireworks evenings on the beach are a big hit with families from all over the area and visitors alike. St Johns Guest House is in a great location to use as a base for walking around the local area and exploring the Jurassic Coast. I’d highly recommend staying here and make the most of a staycation in the area. Will definitely book again.

If the cold water tap and hot water tap was changed to mixer tap, it would be even better.

It was so modern, stylish and clean. We loved the common living room space which you can use to cook or warm up the food which was very useful. Owners are very lovely and kind. Breakfast was very tasty!

Nothing really enjoyed our stay.

Lynne & Andy were great hosts, very friendly and could not do more to make our stay very enjoyable. Breakfast was first class, our room was very clean, the bathroom was fitted out to high standard and the shower gel provided is excellent. Looking forward to going back in July for another long weekend, which we did not hesitate to book with Lynne yesterday before leaving.

Maybe an earlier breakfast than 8.30. We were offered cereals and juice earlier but looked forward to the cooked breakfast.

Clean, comfortable, extras such as kettle and fridge with milk make this a 5* stay. Excellent breakfast.

Amazing location. Room was clean and beautifully and elegantly decorated. Beds were very comfortable , breakfast was delicious and made to order which is fantastic as no waste! Lovely selection of teas in the room. Hosts were amazing and we’d definitely stay there again.

Had a great stay at St John’s Guest House, the staff were so lovely & our room was spotless and had everything you need & more. Bed & pillows were so comfy and loved the quirky wallpaper. Breakfast was amazing! Perfectly cooked & fresh. All the little extras & attention to detail really make this guesthouse memorable. Highly recommend to anyone who is staying in Weymouth.
