A good, central hotel. With parking, period features and an excellent breakfast

Some of the bedroom furnishings looked tired and the bedroom carpet and armchair had stains. However, the room itself, the bathroom, bed linen and towels etc…were all very clean.

Very central, period property. Friendly staff. Parking available, which is great for such a central location within the city. Nice communal areas Excellent breakfast!

The room had French windows onto a small balcony. This meant that I was unable to open a small window for some fresh air through the night, making for a stuffy room.

Great breakfast. More than anyone could eat!

There wasn't a mirror in the bedroom except for when you open the wardrobe door, but the room lighting was a bit dim for doing make up etc.

Lovely room, beautiful bathroom. Location first class, short walk to Norwich City centre, staff were lovely, breakfast great

It felt old & tired and in need of some love… pillows were flat & hard & really in need of upgrade & not even basic toiletries available when I ran out - ie. Toothpaste… I just felt it needed a refresh - it’s an incredible building & location

Super central location and in the centre of Norwich / wonderful old building too

No chef at present so no food apart from brunch and breakfast. They are refurbishing so understandably some areas were a bit tatty. We had a balcony but no outside furniture - strange!

Location, location, location. Such a beautiful part of town. Nice breakfast, big room with balcony and ac. Comfy bed. A touch of splendour and charm. Nice staff.

The rooms, whilst comfortable, are not large and do not have dedicated desk areas (for working). There are other areas in the hotel that staff can make available to business users.

The hotel is charming with delightful and helpful staff. It has a very good kitchen which is good value - and the breakfast is extraordinarily good. It's location in the Lanes area is quiet, central and ideal for both leisure and business visitors.

Maybe some of the bedroom furniture could be updated but we were only there for a night so not a big issue.

Room had an odd mix of furniture ie very different styles but it was very comfortable. View from room wasn’t great. Location superb. Very central but must remember how to access the car park. Breakfast was excellent, had full English with perfectly poached eggs. Staff were all very friendly, efficient and helpful.
