Breakfasts are great & a lot of options. V well located. Above all Pearly & Mark are incredibly welcoming kind & helpful hosts. They go above & beyond. Added to which there is cake!

Only that the room was a little stuffy instead very hot temperature we had whilst we were there, but Mark immediately made sure we had a fan

They provided a good choice of breakfast dishes and drinks, and went over and beyond to make sure you had sufficient to eat and drink. Check in was also excellent with tea and home made cake on arrival. They were both very attentive and provided lots of information regarding places to visit, and to eat and drink on the island.

Pearly and Mark were great hosts for my stay very welcoming and very helpful. Room was very nice and clean the breakfast was excellent. The location was brilliant close to the town centre and to the sea front and a fiver minute walk to the train station. Thank you for a lovely stay Regards Wayne.

I would recommend a fridge available for guests to put their drinks cold.

Charming place. Owners are very nice and welcome you, keen to please so you can enjoy your stay. Place close to the beach and to town. 9 minutes from train station straight to the port/pier for the crossing. Excellent breakfast choice with vegetarian choice. I am sure they will accommodate to vegan. Smiley faces and remembered your name! We had a 4 nights stay. Happy to come back for our next IOW festival. Thank you.

Breakfast was exceptional. The best full English I've had with plenty of fruit, juice and coffee. Excellent hosts, chilled but attentive. Room clean and cleaned every day. Parking on site if you need to explore but close enough to the front to walk down. Can't fault it really. Would stay here again for a stress free holiday.

Could give 100/10 rating if it was allowed. It was a wonderful stay at st george house for a family. Different experience as compared to big hotels, where you get a warm welcome and personalized service. The rooms and services are top notch. Pearly and Mark are great hosts. We were on a road trip with our 9 month old for the first time and were very tired when we reached their place. Pearly and Mark were very warm and welcoming as we reached there. They offered us tea and the best homemade carrot cake in the world. They made prior arrangement for a cot for our baby daughter in the room and baby seat for breakfast and dining in the mornings. It was a much needed break for us as a working couple in IT and we could not be happier that we chose St George House. It will be now our Go To place in future as well. Highly recommended to all.

There was nothing not to like.

What can we say about this outstanding property. The owners Pearly & Mark were the best of hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. From the fresh cake and a cuppa when we arrived to the outstanding breakfast each morning. The whole experience was a 10 out of 10 - from the cleanliness to the superb decorations throughout and hints about where to go and what to do. We would recommend any potential guests to stay here. One of the best we have stayed in. We were even provided with homemade coffee and walnut cake to take with us when we left. Jeff & Judy. Travellers from Australia.

What an amazing stay in this beautiful cottage. So clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and luxury pillows, linen and towels. Everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. Shanklin is a lovely part of the Island and near so many lovely restaurants and attractions.Would highly recommend .. thank you for a lovely stay 😃

A very clean and homy place along a very quiet road, not far from the sea shore and the bus stop. The breakfast was all you could ask for, cooked for your own needs. The breakfast room was beautiful and clean. At least from outside looking this B & B was the tidiest and best kept accommodation in the neighborhood.
