No phone in room - couldn't contact anyone on Monday night using my mobile. same issue next morning - had to call health club to speak to someone. i'm sure lighting is standardised on each floor BUT if you're on the ground floor you've got to have a full window height window blind down and it was dark. could do with a couple of free standing lamps.

excellent check in/check out with staff. slight issue with water temperature resolved quickly - tap temp was low, shower was fine.

A minor point was that there were no biscuits with the tea and coffee stuff and the kids missed those! Some water glasses would have been appreciated too. There were only 2 tea cups but 4 people in the room. It wasn't really a problem, just would have been nice to have.

As we booked a family room, we also had access to the gym and pool which were both great. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was nice but the staff could have been more helpful by smiling when we asked for sunny side up egg, the first set came out looking bad but it was later changed by another staff. I understand the particular staff could be overwhelmed with work.

The swimming area was great for the kids and the room was spacious and neat for my family use. Staff members at the reception were friendly and nice.

The hallways to get to our rooms were a bit confusing to navigate at first. Also, inside the rooms, there were no usual phones. We had to use an app to chat with the hotel’s customer service. I’m a bit old school and would prefer to ba able to talk to somebody more quickly over the phone. But, the customer service was very responsive and helpful.

We booked two rooms that were both nice and comfortable. The facilities were also nice, i.e., swimming pool, sauna. It was also very handy to be able to have dinner within the hotel.

Generally quiet but walls were pretty thin and could often hear footsteps and conversations outside or upstairs. Certain parts of the room could do with better lighting.

Easy to find, plenty of parking space. Friendly and helpful staff at reception who accommodated us when we arrived for early check-in. Sufficient facilities in the room, quite spacious and nice comfortable bathroom.

We arrived to breakfast at 9.05am to be told that we could not have breakfast, even though there was plenty of food left just sat there. The man was not for letting us have any of the that clearly would be put in the bin. We were starving it is not good enough.

No a/c and in this climate 1 small fan was Insufficient Why don’t hotels give you water? Had to ask at the bar or Starbucks and they obliged apart from one time when the bar lady said I could buy some! Knowing guests would park on site I felt asking them to pay was just a money grab

I found it was a bit dirty in the breakfast lounge, also the conservatory considering I was there for a wedding event I had to wipe crumbs off my seat upon arrival. Tables needed a wipe, floor needed a hoover just not good for wedding guests to see. The outside where you can see is nice but when have good look around definitely needs tlc , maintenance and leaves in a pile shoved in corner just not pretty site. Our room was lovely though it lacked sugar and milk we had to ask at reception who then only had brown sugar to offer , but staff were friendly and polite enough about it. Bed was comfy although pillows very hard only one soft in our room so one of us had sore neck Think around hotel and bar areas would benefit from I pick of paint Breakfast wasn't great for the amount of payment , scramble egg was hard , hash browns rubbery taste and not very hot. Around bin was dirty and tables not cleared straight away for new arrivals to sit.
