The housekeeper was lovely. We weren’t greeted on arrival but that seems to be the way places are run now. Nice room. Good continental breakfast.

Not the fault of the owner, but we were unfortunate to have an inconsiderate couple next door who made a lot of noise when they arrived late and then insisted on getting the housekeeper to change their mattress, which wasn’t done quietly! Not the best night sleep for us. Though everything else was good and profound apologies were made in the morning by the housekeeper.

Good location, could walk into Tain in 10 mins, comfortable well-appointed room. Great Continental style breakfast

We have stayed here many times and it never disappoints

Hair dryer did not work

The guest house was conveniently located in Tain and was very clean and tidy and our room spacious with a comfortable large bed, shower, etc. and offroad parking. The continental breakfast had a few options with fresh berries, granola and yoghurt being our favourite. Also croissant, toast, tea and coffee etc. A very pleasant stay.

A cooked brekfast option would have been good, however, we were aware that this option was not available at the time of booking

Huge rooms, and very comfortable. More than adequate breakfast, a great choice of food and drinks. Close to great places to eat evening meals.

One very small thing. As I need glasses to read, I could not see the instructions on the shower in the morning so it was a bit of a task to get the flow and heat I wanted, but I got there in the end. Yes I could have read the instruction before getting in the shower so partly my fault. Perhaps find a way to have instructions in large letters inside the shower for future guests.

Comfortable room. Easy parking. Just off the NC500. Short walk in to town - highly recommend Platform 1864 for dinner. Lovely continental breakfast.

The bottom of the inside of the kettle was marked - not sure if it was a result of hard water but I chose not to use it.

My company booked 2 colleagues in the Springfield and the feedback regarding the great staff and gorgeous guest house, owe and the sleep was perfect.

Everything was perfect

The room was large and airy and the bed very comfortable. Parking at the property. The lady taking coffee orders at breakfast was very nice and friendly.

We arrived quite late due to travel connections and it felt weird without anyone there though the key was laid out for us. It just felt a little impersonal.

Good location, very comfortable room, lovely backyard garden. Nice cosy breakfast room with fine food.. Everything was self served including check in. Beds were extremely comfy.

Only thing we were missing was few more of various breakfast items, e.g. pancakes ( there were only 2 and we were 6 ppl:))) natural oat was only 1 portion of, etc.. otherwise it was really lovely!

Bed comfy. Room Very clean. Breakfast was excellent and staff friendly. Self check in and check out was very easy.

The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Bed very comfortable, good support and soft. Lovely to have spare chairs to sit on as well as plenty of storage space (not needed by us). Great variety of drink sachets on kettle tray.
