Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Solheimir which is so calm and peaceful. Janet and Lourie are lovely, friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome to their beautiful home and garden. Private room and bathroom were clean, spacious and very comfortable with everything you need and nearby golf centre serves amazing food. Would highly recommend.

I liked everything about my stay. Janet and Laurie are absolutely brilliant hosts. The golf course up the road ( Strathmore ) has amazing food also. 2 minute walk from the accommodation.

Wasn’t too much to do around the area! Lovely for a couple nights!

Was all lovely! Cosey wee room, lovely hosts, Janet and Lourie were lovely and friendly, even gave me a birthday card and a wee bag of tablet that I found so nice of them! The dogs, Sophie and Floyd were just the nicest dogs ever!

Janet and Lourie were most delightful , welcoming and positively charming. They did everything to make me feel comfortable and at home . Janet’s extras were a delight . The location is fabulous . The room is spotless and homely and their delightful dogs are lovely . I cannot praise them enough . I had a most relaxing stay .

Beautiful big room in a very quiet location with lovely views of the garden and the trees beyond from the patio doors. Exceptionally clean. Lots of thoughtful extras, in our case Janet's lovely tablet. Janet and Lourie were friendly and helpful hosts giving lots of tips of what to see in the area.
