The beds were not very comfortable, thin mattres. The bathroom in the room was tiny, almost claustrophobic, but there were also some showers and toilets outside the room in other floors, so we could use them instead sometimes. There is no elevator, we had to use very narrow stairs to get to the 3rd floor, which was not a problem for us but is not easy for everyone, could be challenging, especially carrying lugagge. However, overall is very good value for money, I'd definetely stay again in this hostel.

The location is wonderful, the neighbourhood is beautiful, near Hyde Park and Notting Hill, with lots of shops and very well connected with public transport. Breakfast not included but was good value for money (£6.50). The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are lockers to store your lugagge if you need for £3 the day. Wifi worked perfectly.

The private toilet is too small and not comfortable for sitting, but you get plenty of options in the shared ones

The good thing about it is the gathering of people whether it is in common dining room or in the reception or it is just outside in the hostel yard. The room is always quiet and never faced any sleeping issues. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around, and you have two underground stations just 2 minutes outside the hostel. If you are social guy(unfortunately I am not) definitely you will make a lot of friends. Everyone one is ready to get in touch and start a conversation with you, the receptionists are very friendly.

Dear Team, Smart Hyde Park Inn W2 it is a truly different experience at a very economical price right in the heart of central London. It’s both a hotel and hostel, so at first, I was a little concerned about privacy. However, I booked a private en-suite room, which turned out to be very cozy, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly—special thanks to Ms. Carolina, who was very knowledgeable about the area and gave me great tips about the surroundings. Overall, it’s an amazing property in London, and I would definitely love to stay here again on my future visits to England. 💟

everything a bit cramped, loud AC, kitchen rather crowded. but for this price in central London completely fine. :)

nice hostel very close to Hyde Park/Regents Park. friendly staff and everything you need. would book it again. great outside area with tables in quiet area. very close to tube and bus stations, restaurants, a big bowling and ice skating bar, supermarkets and more.

I stayed in the middle of a mild heatwave but struggled immensely with the heat (as did everyone in my room). We commandeered a fan from another room and it was then comfortable enough, but without the fan there was 0 air movement in the room. I also found the bedding quite uncomfortable and small, but it might've been the heat contributing to the discomfort. I ended up having to get a hotel for a night just to get some sleep. The stairs can also be quite rough if you're on the top floor like we were, with the common areas also in the basement. Expect to leave your luggage in the storage room if you have a big suitcase with you unless you're ready to haul it up many stairs.

Honestly it's a really well run and nicely established hostel. Lot's of rooms and toilets and showers throughout, activities and events on offer, nice staff, and sufficient kitchen and shared space downstairs. A relatively pleasant stay and a place I'd recommend as long as it isn't a heatwave or the dead of summer.

The lockers do not work, you can open all of them even when using a padlock so that’s unsafe.
