What a treat! We needed a break and it surpassed expectations thanks mainly to our hosts, their local knowledge and their warm welcome. Breakfasts were excellent and set us up for a day of exploring all the places we had heard about. Our room was very comfortable with a garden view.

We liked it all, everything was perfect.

The secluded position of the house amidst wonderful scenery. Tomas's welcome and personality - he was wonderful to chat to. The marvellous 5 star breakfast was a real treat. The facilities in the house, beautiful room, restful lounge to sit and relax in after a day of exploring. Very upmarket fittings and fixtures. We thoroughly recommend Skerrols House. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay.

Very clean, impeccable, contemporary amenities. The host prepared an excellent breakfast for us, make us feel like at home. The fruits were so fresh. The property is a white washed stone cottage, with a country feel but at a very convenient location. So lovely that I will come back next time I travel to this area!

The hospitality was second to none. Thomas was friendly, helpful, good-humoured and no query/request was too much. Rooms were very clean and well-appointed. The whole property felt homely and is beautifully situated - perfect location for the northern distilleries but also easy enough to reach Port Ellen. Breakfast each morning was delicious.

Nothing not too like

This is probably, all round, THE best accommodation we have ever stayed in. Immaculately clean, beautiful decor, nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfasts were incredible. Never had scrambled eggs like it!!

A bit expensive, but pricing was still comparable to other places on Isle of Islay.

We traveled all over Scotland, but this B&B provided the most "comforts of home" of any place we went. Owners were just a text message or ring of a bell away if we ever needed anything. Additionally, Breakfast was great and flexible to custom orders. The living room had whiskey glasses to borrow for a cocktail and water, soda, and chips included for guest who want a snack at night. The Bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, and the place was peaceful quiet and very clean.

The host, Thomas, was wonderful. The room was really comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was especially great with a separate tub and heated floors. The location is beautiful, and the living room is a great spot to spend the evening. To top it off, Thomas made our breakfast the night before so we could take it with us to catch the morning ferry. Above and beyond our expectations.

Thomas and his Wife are wonderful hosts. Everything about Skerrols is perfect! Room was amazing with huge double bed and lovely soft pillows. Breakfast was just incredible. Nothing was too much trouble! One of the best B&B's in Scotland!

Very good welcome from host Tomasz. Excellent quality mattress and bedding Great bathroom (room 2). Complimentary soft drinks and snacks available from tables in the lounge. And, best of all, a superb breakfast with lots of choice. A shed was available to store our bikes overnight and an extension cable was led out to it for charging the ebikes.
