Because we had a very early flight like alot are. Paying good money for accomodation including breakfast. I thought they could have offered a breakfast sandwich/ pastry/ juice for us to take with us. Alot of our other accomodations have done so. About a 25 min good walk to the city

We only stayed 2 nights...

This was our second visit to the property and thoroughly enjoyed our return visit. The property is beautifully decorated and immaculate. Our room was spacious and very, very comfortable. Enjoyed the continental breakfast and also our morning chats with Martin who was charming and interested in our plans whilst visiting Edinburgh. Local bus services to/from the city run close by.

Nothing. Our room was a basement room with access to the garden. It was large, comfortable and nicely decorated - but a little dark.

The property is lovely - well maintained, tastefully furnished.

It is a very inviting, and cozy place, and the location is perfect. Nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. We could leave our luggage on the last day. Very, very kind of Hilary.

The only small downside was that the coffee and tea supplies in the room were not refreshed during my 3 day stay. It would have been nice to have them replenished daily.

I had a wonderful stay at six Brunton place, the staff went above and beyond by allowing me to check in early at no extra cost; both ( lady and Martin ) were incredibly friendly.

There was nothing l didn't like however note there is no lift in this building.

A beautiful historic BnB located approx 15 minutes walk to Holyrood Palace and then the Royal Mile. Note it is a walk that has a constant incline up to Edinburgh Castle. We had the Garden room with direct access to a courtyard garden. Bed was very comfortable and room included a lovely sitting area with ensuite. Close to restaurant options(15 min walk). Breakfast was a continental breakfast with a nice selection of Granola Cereals Fruits Pastries and Toast. The room was large, quiet but down a staircase to the lower level. Check in was easy and our host was very friendly and approachable.

My only criticism would be the lack of room darkening shades as the sun rises very early in June.

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh either by foot or bus…a few minutes from the door. A beautiful character filled home that blended old world charm with modern amenities. Gorgeous breakfast room and comfortable, light and airy bedroom. Hilary was a most delightful and gracious host and we enjoyed our conversations with her.

Everything was great

The hotel is stylish, with beautifully designed interiors that made our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great time! The location is convenient and within walking distance to both the city centre and Leith. Breakfast was a nice addition and set us up well for the day.

On a busy road, but when inside or out in the garden, you weren't aware of any traffic noise. Even in the breakfast room, your eyes were drawn to the trees across the road rather than the road or people walking by below, so not really a negative at all !

Friendly welcome and introduction to accommodation. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Fresh ingredients at breakfast served with smiles and light chat and a fantastic view of trees and the hillside. The location was so convenient for all areas of the city.

Nothing. Six Brunton place is lovely.

Beautiful old house in a quiet residential section of Edinburgh, easily accessible to all sections of the city. Lovely dining room breakfast. Comfortable room with every amenity, modern fixtures. Hilary was helpful in suggesting a walk up Calton Hill, with views of the city and helped me navigate to less-traveled areas.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We felt at home straightaway. The apartment, which was very clean, charming and well equipped, was in a an old Gregorian-style house which was decorated accordingly. The breakfast room is a highlight, as was the breakfast! The house is at a perfect distance to the old town.

Not an issue with the property, but if you are driving, parking in the area is difficult to find. We parked for a few mins to unload and went straight to return our rental.

We stayed in the garden room, and it was delightful! Large, well appointed and comfortable, with our own access to a shared garden. The hosts attention to detail was very apparent, and the room reflected this. Very centrally located, and a brisk walk to the royal mile. The included breakfast was delicious and the setting was immaculate. Felt very royal. Though i would have loved a hot course
