This B & B is truly exceptional. There isn't a single detail that Avril has missed. The extras in the room cover everything a guest could want from an ample choice of fruit, teas and chocolate to ear plugs (not that this is a noisy place to stay). There is also a range of toiletries to choose from. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also very generous and all freshly prepared.

Stunning property including attic room in B&B about 10 mins by taxi from Newcastle rail station. Avril and her son Angus were welcoming hosts who provided the most amazing breakfast and were kind enough to store our luggage during a visit to the nearby Newcastle University Open Day. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. Hoping to come back soon for another visit!

I like the way all the yellow cushions, pillows, and blanket and rug match and perfect as bedroom wall lights or wall light. I like wardrobe with a heart. The light in the wall look so cool

What a lovely hidden gem. Tastefully decorated and comfortable and exemplary for the room provisions such as toiletries and refreshments and the most amazing breakfast’s. Nothing is too much trouble for the host Avril and her son Angus

Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated - modern but with a homely, cosy feel; well equipped; excellent selection of teas, filter coffee, fruit, and sweet treats. Avril was a lovely host and very welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding, we were spoilt for choice! Would highly recommend staying here.

The host was especially welcoming without being intrusive, helpful with transport, restaurant options, etc. Excellent breakfasts. The loft studio was delightfully set out and felt completely private from the rest of the house. Generous quantities of biscuits, chocolate and fruit in the room!

What a lovely place to stay! We received a very friendly welcome, with lots of advice for our stay - we know the area pretty well, but for any first time visitors, lots of useful info. The room was absolutely delightful, really cosy with everything you could possibly need & an exceptional tea selection! Beautiful bathroom with a lovely selection of toiletries & towels. Really delicious breakfast, with lots of choices. Easy to park on the street outside too.

Extremely comfortable - we stayed in the loft room - like home from home really spacious - wonderful for us but wouldn’t suit people with limited mobility as it is as it names suggests at the top of the house - we loved it

Nothing was a problem

The owners are very welcoming, the room and house, for that matter, had a warm friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was wonderful, trad English and plenty of fruit yogurts etc. Location to city centre was excellent and we were helped to find the taxi service. This Air B&B has extremely high standards, for travellers like my wife and I, there were no puzzled looks at each other, we both agreed, certainly in our top 5 stays and we stay out a lot.
