Parking was a bit of a nightmare, had to park on the road until a space became available, luckily Hayley helped us get a spot both days.

Food selection was very good, cooked breakfast was very nice. Like to mention Hayley who was very helpful and looked after us very well. Location was great, right on beach and right next to the coastal path.

It was a bit noisy in the morning radio on below us and doors banging. The room we were in could do with a new bed.

The pubs food offering is somewhat constrained by offering the Marstons standard menu. Hence the opportunity to use locally sourced food is very limited. The pub is 100m from the beach and suspect offering frozen fish plus the menu boasts of sourcing their steaks from Brazil. That said the food was good, but I think that Marstons need to think a bit more seriously around sourcing locally and backing British farming.

The room felt unclean, especially the bathroom where dirt was visible. Not one to usually complain or have particularly high standards, but this one did feel a bit grubby and due some love.

Comfortable spacious room overlooking the beach. Quality bedding & towels, great shower, really helpful staff & super dog friendly. Great breakfast cooked to order from quality ingredients. Milk from a jug & real butter for your toast. The glass fronted restaurant overlooks the sea with stunning views There was a varied menu for evening meals which we sampled over 5 nights & were all excellent.

We booked 2 rooms, they were roomy with wonderful views but sadly very tired, in need of refurbishment especially the bathroom area, lots of mould, cracks and the toilet sit almost detached. The outdoor seating area was also in the process of being adorned with a make shift veranda. Maybe I’m being harsh but these things let it down. The approach is tricky on bikes and other traffic can be disrespectful in and out.

Unfortunately the food was not great (apart from breakfast which was fine). Limited menu and several things on the menu unavailable, and the famous pie gave me an upset tummy all night. I don’t think it had been reheated sufficiently. Disappointing for such a lovely place

The stairs were steep and difficult to negotiate with bags but we knew when we booked what to expect. Parking was difficult but manageable.

We liked the friendly staff. The accommodation was roomy and comfy. The food was good and fresh. Breakfast was cooked to order and good. Location was amazing and the view and sunset spectacular.

The constant banging noise in the background was slightly annoying once I noticed it lol but stopped at 10:30pm so no disturbance of sleep Very small amount of coffee provided (2 sachets) and had to ask for more ! Please provide guests with more ! Bathroom looks like it needed a small amount of attention for it to be back to perfect But in the whole it's a great place to stay

The room we stayed at could do with a little tlc, although it was perfectly clean. The restaurant and bar seemed a little understaffed, so a fairly long wait for service. I think it happened to be busier than expected.
