We're used to a different kind of mattress not one with springs in.

Milk, tea, coffee etc was provided, nice and clean. Free WiFi. Free parking down the hill. Response time to communication was rapid.

It was comfortable, in a great location to catch a ferry & with lovely views over Oban. The owners made us welcome & were very accommodating.

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable for me but that was the only downside :)

The studio was in a great location and easily accessed up a steep road from oban center, the space was well organised and the bathroom was a good size with a nice shower. Little treats and water left on the bed and in the fridge were lovely and communication was quick.

Access to property was up a very steep hill and only on foot. Car had to be parked at the bottom of the hill and cases carried or wheeled up. Not suitable for elderly or disabled. Facilities were adequate for one night.

Bathroom small and noisy

Lovely comfortable property close to town centre, ferry, shops and beautiful hilltop viewing point.

The WC macerator was very noisy and became annoying.The fridge made some very loud noises during the night which woke my husband up a couple of times.

Nice decoration and well set up with wee kitchenette.Cosy.Very kind to leave milk and beer in fridge too .Appreciated that.

No way it could be changed but it is a steep old walk from the car parking to the front door. Could it be possible to allow guests to drive up to unload and load their cars and then leave the car in the parking area?

The owners certainly made the most of the available space, but it was a bit tight in places, and we are not fans of glass doors to the toilet/shower room. Warm and cosy though for a short stay. Location good to get into town.

Hilly location but most of Oban is. Shower was small and pump system noisy with any flushing / waste water flow.

The unit is a lovely minimalist compact space the little extras provided were appreciated. Close to Main Street and ferry.

The bed was quite hard and not very comfortable. We only stayed one night so this was not much of an issue.

Beautifully set up little flat, everything you need plus some nice bonuses. There were a couple of beers and cans of gin and tonic in the fridge, some milk for tea and coffee, little cereal boxes and bars - so many lovely touches! Everything clean and comfortable. There is a little terrace and a gate leading to Pulpit Hill viewpoint in the garden, both of which offered incredible views of the bay. We were lucky to catch a beautiful sunset and it was unforgettable. Easy 20 minute walk down to the harbour. We took taxis to the accommodation since it's uphill but they were cheap (£4) and plentiful. The property is in the basement of the host's house, but it still felt private.

One small room, only one comfy chair. Breakfast high chairs at bar very uncomfortable. There was a microwave but nothing to use to cook porridge in the microwave.

Owners were friendly and helpful, as they first asked us to park at the bottom of a very steep hill, but then moved their car so we were nearer the accomodation, and helped us with our cases.

The sliding door to the bathroom is partially transparent.

The bed was very comfortable and there were some really nice little touches that you don't see in similar accommodation eg. a cold beer in the fridge.

The only minor thing was that I didn’t find the hairdryer until the next morning! So a sign indicating its location under the bed would be welcome.

The room was perfect for our needs. Comfy bed. Everywhere clean and cereal and milk provided.
