This cottage is a beautiful spot. Has everything you need for a perfect weekend away, coffee machine, a good grill for the bacon, comfy bed, powerful shower & Bluetooth speaker. Very pet friendly, even a little dog bed, towel and bowl which was a lovely touch. We stayed in on the Saturday night, cosy living room watching a film and plenty of glasses. Location wise, couldn't ask for better. A stone throw away from the lovely pubs, but hidden away in a courtyard so super quiet. Fantastic beer gardens near by, beautiful food and an ale bar. The nearby walks are beautiful, we did a local walk through the woods and along the river. On our second day we walked up Cautley Waterfall. I 100% will be back again!

Take care going up and down the small spiral staircase in a rush.. But that was easily manageable.

The location in Sedbergh is an excellent place to base trips to Lake District or Yorkshire Dales. Very dog friendly, which was a must for us.

Having some tea and milk on arrival would have topped it off especially after a long walk

Nicely laid out apartment, facilities were good, cosy place to relax on a wet evening.

Key safe was tricky to open maybe needs some Wd40. Freezer could do with a defrost, door frozen shut.

Comfortable, lovely base for exploring, everything there.

The property is well located and is a beautiful little home from home. We really enjoyed the tranquility of a few nights away here and have already recommended it to friends and family. It’s a clean, comfortable space and there are lovely little extras such as shampoo and body wash in case you’ve forgotten and some basic food things stocked in the cupboards. The village is quiet but has lots of great pubs. We enjoyed the Dalesman for good food and drinks; the thirsty rambler is a great spot for a drink or too as well! Would definitely recommend for a couples getaway!

Instructions for the central heating system would help.

Location was good, close to town centre and shops and pubs/restaurants There was free roadside parking at the other end of town, roughly 10 minutes away.

The oven wasn’t great and smoke alarm went off really easy, however that is just a minor issue. Overall we loved it.

Nothing whatsoever for us to dislike. Spiral staircase could cause problems for fatties or those with access issues.

Superbly convenient central village location, but was very quiet and privately located. The property is very well decorated and furnished giving a traditional country cottage feel, while also having all the mod cons at your disposal.

Not a dislike but have to unload/ load the car quickly before causing a traffic jam as the road is narrow. Plus side is that there’s plenty of free parking a short walk away.

Nicely furnished, comfortable bed, everything you could need supplied, near to village which is lovely.

It was frustrating for us(as we self cater) that there were only 2 or in Some cases1 of everything -2forks/2knives/2plates /2bowls etc-1wine glass -which meant you had to wash stuff in between courses or -if you put something in the fridge in a bowl you then had to share the remaining bowl for cereal etc . No salt and pepper ,no tv reception-we managed Bbc2for about 2mins -otherwise you had to sign into Netflixetc -which we did

Lovely cosy place for two, stylishly presented with a super, comfortable bed .
