    Excellent location close to bus and trains to London. Rooms were clean, if a little bit small. Staff were great and friendly.

    if you book through Booking.com be sure to reserve a parking space. The car park at the back is very, very small for a hotel this size.

    Bed was comfortable and room was nice and modern. Close to train station.

    Staff were extremely rude and tried to call me a liar when I said the message I received when booking this hotel didn’t mention anything about pre-booking parking or paying £100 deposit on arrival. As I was not informed about the deposit, I refused to pay. I then had to get the message up to prove I was right!! The staff continued to argue and to try and prove me wrong. I was close to walking out and not staying there. Once checked in, I wasn’t given any instructions as to where the lift was, restaurant or how to get to the rooms. I had to figure this out myself. The lift sounded like it was about to break down. Parking was too small and because we didn’t “pre-book”, we had to park on a public car park 3 min walk away from the hotel. Air con in room was so noisy we had to turn it off.

    Great location, super friendly staff, especially at reception.

    Staff washing the floor by the bar, leaving a slippery floor, with staff and customers walking on it, anyway. Leave it for a quieter time of day.

    It was so clean, everything supplied you need and so efficient. The welcome by the staff and every interaction with them was just the best I have had anywhere we have traveled and we are 70 plus years old.the food was delicious, brilliant choices and so healthy. Well done everyone 👏👏

    Beautiful new hotel, ,lovely staff,

    Even though the hotel is new, we stayed at 4th floor and the shower is noisy, phonic insulation not great, can hear shower, pipe noises, or from the hallway. As well we had dinner and my calamary were made from feozen and not fresh as in other restaurants, for this high level hotel i would have expected better quality, didnt enjoy the calamari at all, they filled me.up.

    Great location, my go to Hotel always, even when it was Sadie Best ...

    I have been staying here for years frequently and was confused when asked to pay a deposit of £100 even though I had just paid. There was no email for this.

    Friendly staff. Clean & modern room. Complimentary water & coffee machine in room. 24 hour reception.

    Very limited parking. Didn’t book this (our fault) but managed to park nearby. Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited selection & not the best quality. Coffee machine broken at breakfast. Felt expensive for what was provided.

    I thought its own by Hilton But all rubbish charge £15 for parking did bit get parking at night I have to block three cars 6 in the morning have to get up to move my car Ac was not working charge me £30 for the towel because cone spill

Please allow us to address both points you have raised: Parking It is correct that we had to park your vehicle next to the wall, and that we contacted you in the morning to move it as several other cars were unable to leave. As noted on our listing, “Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed),” and this information is also included in the welcome message sent to all guests prior to arrival. In this case, no parking reservation was made, and you arrived late at night when all reserved spaces were already occupied. Nevertheless, as a gesture of goodwill, we refunded the parking fee in full due to the inconvenience you experienced. Towels Four brand-new large towels were damaged during your stay, two of which sustained permanent damage and could no longer be used. As is standard practice in hotels, charges apply for permanently damaged items, including towels. We hope this clarifies the situation.     The feel of luxury when you enter the building, the bar and the room.

    At the same time that the location is very good in being close to the train and bus station, that also means there is a lot of traffic going around being in the center which can get a bit much if you have trouble sleeping if there's too much sound.
