This is a great little hotel just over the road from the venue for the Wickham Festival. It's far enough away for it to be quiet, but close enough that you can walk there in five minutes and enjoy the festival with a comfortable, quiet night at the end of the day. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and good quality. There's loads of parking. The room was quiet. This is our second stay and we recommended it to friends too, and will do so again.

United KingdomYou can hear the traffic on the road quite well at night but when I wore ear plugs I could drown it out. The lift was not working when we stayed which meant that we had to carry suitcases up the stairs, but staff offered to carry them for us which was kind. The bed was too hard for me but my partner liked the hard bed. The light and extractor in the bathroom was automatic and on a long timer which meant that it was difficult not to disturb your fellow room mate if you got up to go to the loo in the night.
The staff did everything they could to make us comfortable and look after us. The location was perfect for our festival. They catered for my partner who is a coeliac. The buffet breakfast was good. There was a free pool table. Sitting in the dining and lounge areas were very comfortable, cosy and pleasant. There is loads of parking.

Comfy bed, nice shower (pleasingly thick fluffy towels) and spotlessly clean. I slept really well. Staff were attentive and the breakfast coffee was really good. To he fair, the whole breakfast was good! I would happily stay here again.
