Lovely hotel, great staff and the food was good. However at £180 B&B for 1 night a bit pricey.

Great location, amazing staff. Front bar is great for a quiet drink or 3. Kitchen was amazing for dietary requirements. Small clean rooms, a little dated but thats the only fault.

The furniture was a bit dated and the bathroom could do with doing up a bit.

Quiet noisy til late outside on a Saturday night. Décor a bit tired and curtains coming down in places.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Buzzing bar, good breakfast. Space to store bike securely.

Nothing. It was ideal for what we needed!

Ideal location as we were attending a wedding and just needed somewhere to stay for the night and also very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and the bed was super comfortable!

Its an old building with minimal central heating or AC so be prepared to be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I slept in a tracksuit when I stayed in the winter!

The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel restaurant is good value for money. It has Parking available. A decent hotel for work purposes

Our room was listed as a small double and it was pretty small wirh basic decor.

Staff were exceptional, atmosphere was homely, friendly, warm and inviting. The little bar area was lovely. Bed was comfortable and there was everything we needed for a two night stay. Breakfast was lovely, as were our two evening meals. Fantasric location to walk to train station, which was why we stayed here. Also room was quiet.

Shower area had a lot of discolouration at ceiling height. Very few parking spaces on site. We were very lucky to get last space when arriving mid-afternoon.

Excellent food, both dinner and breakfast. It was the crispiest batter on fish I have ever had! Location easy walking distance from sea.

Nothing really. I suppose the modest-sized car park would fill up quickly in the high season. But I found a spot OK.

Sensibly priced close to Dunbar town centre. Excellent breakfast. And my room had a bath !!

No negative comments. However, the hotel does have a rather tired appearance.

Situated on the main line from London to Edinburgh I decided to stay here because of the highly competitive price compared to the rip-off prices in the Athens of the North! Just twenty or so minutes away from Edinburgh with a convenient rail services it was a no-brainer. The hotel does need refurbishing but is handily placed near to the rail station and is a good stop off point for walkers. Dunbar offers little by way of entertainment but for a one night visit it was ideal as it was quiet and therefore peaceful. A good breakfast was provided at a very reasonable price. The staff were pleasant and efficient.

Room and property in need of a little TLC, needs to be decorated and more standard general maintenance required

Nice traditional old style building, dining area had fantastic old traditional ornate wooden panelling, room and dining room clean and tidy.
