Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesSunning view from the living area and terrace. Very clean and well appointed kitchen. Nice walking distance to town and eateries. Enjoyed the Fife Coastal walking path which runs for miles in either direction. The Scottish Fisheries Museum in town is well worth a visit. Convenient to St. Andrews and other coastal towns. If you like to cook, be sure to stop at the seafood stand, David Lowrie, in nearby St. Monans and the Ardross Farm Shop in Elie. Both superb food destinations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

United KingdomShower took a bit of getting used to. We managed by running tap in washhand basin until hot, then turning on shower. The bath/shower mats were very good. Parking could be an issue in busier times. We only took the car away once, and on return found a parking space not too far away. We did find it odd that it was two way traffic along the Cellardyke high street.
Location great. Patio had lovely views out to sea. Unfortunately only managed to sit out and enjoy the view for one day as weather inclement rest of the time. The cover for foot of double bed had red stain, from dye? on it. Unfortunate as rest of the accommodation was great.

United KingdomSmall details are a problem. The shower drain floods the place. the shower tray fills up within a minute of running the shower. Reported this to the email provided for the owner but nothing came back. 🥲. Advert said some wood is supplied for burner - nothing was there on arrival.
have been before so knew what to expect. love the size, location, cleanliness and vibe about the place.
