Wonderful stay with Liz and Chris. It was like a home away from home! Fantastic breakfast every morning, stunning sounds of the river while you sleep and hosts who go the extra mile in a central and beautiful area. Couldn't have been better!

The hosts, Chris and Liz, were so welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is off the main road and by a little stream. It was lovely and relaxing listening to the stream. Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order with plenty of choice. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

There was nothing to dislike about the property, looking out the window to a small stream which didn't bother us through the night even though we had the window open, breakfast was delicious, perfectly cooked by Chris.

The most welcoming hosts, we felt in safe and friendly hands throughout. Incredible food and lovely room. Perfect location and a charming but modern place. Located on a quiet street, just a short scenic walk away from the lake and ferry.

The hosts were really, friendly, helpful & welcoming. The room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there was a very nice variety of options available. The location of this establishment is really convenient for the town centre, but away from traffic.

Can't think of anything that could be improved. The hosts really go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for their guests.

The hosts we very kind and friendly. We had a late start leaving London due to a dead car battery, and they were very accommodating to receive us after midnight. We did esly morning hiking and came back to sleep in the middle of the day, then out again in the afternoon for more sightseeing and sunset viewing, causing us to come and go at late hours. The guest house was quiet and easy to quietly get in and out (fortunately, our room was by the main entrance).

Everything was great just what we wanted and more. The host Chris and liz were wonderful. Room was wonderful and comfortable clean plenty of room. Breakfast was great to.

Room was light and very clean. Lovely outlook over the stream directly outside the hotel. Bed was super comfy and the living area was a nice touch to sit and relax after a long walk. Chris and Liz the hosts were very attentive and very helpful, in pointing out things to do/see and best way to get there. Breakfast was fresh with a good choice everyday, including cereals/juice/cooked breakfast/eggs/toast/coffee or tea. Location was perfect, quiet and off the main routes but only 5 minutes up the road you are in Windermere centre. 10 minutes the other way you are in the centre of Bowness.

We loved how there was a stream in front of the property. Very quiet location. Liz and Chris were the most incredible hosts... I really appreciated how they both accommodated my requests for breakfast. Enjoyed the whole experience. 10/10. Would highly recommend to any couples out there :)

An absolute treasure. Liz was such a joy!! So grateful for her and the delicious breakfasts by Chris. The room was amazing, the property is gorgeous, great location. Easy bus to the rest of the lakes district. Couldn’t ask for more, highly recommend! We will be back specifically here!

We had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Liz and Chris were amazing as hosts throughout, always asking whether we needed anything and sharing tips and sightseeing advice. The attention given to guests was exceptional and made us feel very welcome and taken care of. The freshly prepared breakfasts were delicious, and there were many options to choose from. The room was very cosy and clean, with lovely views. The sound of the stream trickling outside the window was very peaceful and made us feel like we are surrounded only by nature. The location near the bus station made it a great base for hikes to Ambleside, Grasmere, Elterwater and Helvellyn. Thank you to our hosts for making this stay so pleasant! Would absolutely come back.
