Excellent location, fabulous sized bedroom and both the dinner and breakfast was of a very high standard! Would definitely book here again in a lovely location when in the area...5 Star hospitality aswell!

There was only one hand towel in the bathroom. We like to have one each. You have to cross a busy road to get to the main pub/restaurant. Although we knew this when we booked we didn't realise the road would be so busy. If you have a room looking over the road there is a bit of traffic noise during the night. Would have liked more tea/milk and sugar as we are both big tea drinkers. ( We usually bring our own as experience has taught us that supplies can be a bit limited in most hotels ) I am sure the hotel would have been willing to supply more on request but as we were only there one night it wasn't worth us asking.

We just stayed for one night visiting family nearby. Check in was easy and we were shown to our room. It was very clean and tidy and looked liked it had recently been refurbished. Bathroom was a good size. Breakfast was great with a good choice of food and drink. All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. We didn't have an evening meal there so can't comment on that. The pub/restaurant is full of character and the unexpected musical entertainment late evening was a bonus. Its certainly better than staying at a modern clinical hotel chain. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is on quite a busy road through the village so we were unable to open a window due to traffic noise.

The ceiling lights in our room were a bit dull which made the room quite dark. WiFi was difficult to connect to from our room and just needed far too much information to join. Signal was almost none existent for us. Dinner was disappointing although very reasonable! I opted for haddock and chips but the fish was so over cooked it had dry and crispy. The beef and ale pie was also dry and not much meat in the filling although it looked delicious.

The rooms were in a separate building to the Inn with a car park. The room we had was spacious, sparkling clean and pleasant decor. Everything worked and the bed was large and comfortable. A little traffic noise from the road but nothing that kept us awake or woke us up. Good shower too. The Inn was good too. A separate dining room to the public bar. Good decor and comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was good.

Some staff were great, others were complaining in ear shot. Breakfast was reasonable but a bit dry. Window broken.

Good value for money, rooms adjacent to not above pub so got value of being close while not having too much noise. The pub had a fiddle player we really enjoyed.

Can’t get much air into the room as windows don’t really open. Although dog friendly, it’s awkward at breakfast as they are cleaning around the tables where you can sit with a dog.

A good sized room across the road from the main building including a fan. A good choice for breakfast and dinner was also available. Excellent location for RHS flower show and nearby garden centre.

The Rockingham Arms is ideally placed for visiting Wentworth Woodhouse, and other surrounding places of interest. A very friendly team, making you feel welcome. Comfortable, clean and large bedroom and bathroom. A good selection of options for breakfast.

My only complaint was there was only 1 milk and 2 teabags which meant that we had to go and ask for more to be able to have a morning drink. That night, the extra were removed again! There were quite a few others complaining of this which is such a shame as everything else was so good.

The location was wonderful and the room was very clean and had all we could need. The bed was really comfortable and the staff were helpful and friendly. We ate in the pub each night and the food was good.
