They did not have Scrabble BUT immediately when to borrow one from the neighbours - what service.

So friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the room was unusual but fun just sat listening to the birds. Suzy loved the slipper bath whilst i enjoyed the lovely lounge.

A beautifully decorated bedroom and stunning en-suite bathroom. Lovely idea to have separate private lounge although we didn’t use it this time. Great to have breakfast delivered to your room. Delicious breakfasts!!! Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

Joanne and Steven could not have been more hospitable; they were both willing to do anything to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. They gave plenty of recommended routes for walks in the local area; great activities to avoid any threat of rain and some fabulous recommendations for restaurants. The room was stunning, super clean and just fabulous decor (we joked we’d be moving in!). Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we were not left wanting for more. Would love to return here as the hosts were wonderful and Rock View is set amongst some stunning locations and is a perfect base for exploring the Dales.

Loved it all!

Immaculate, all facilities thought through, private bedroom and bathroom and use of sitting room with option to have breakfast in out door area. Breakfast options are varied and include salmon bagel, cereal, Greek yoghurt/ fruit crumpets/ pastries. Large double bath with complimentary potions to use. Great rain fall shower and touches like Alexa playing on entry to room and coffee machine with pods. Steve who was our host was so helpful and informative. Lending us maps and providing a variety of recommendations on walks and general info on local area. Also tips on breaks further afield :-) Merlin the cat made an appearance! The area is so peaceful and the views stunning you get to totally switch off and soak in the dales… one of my favourite places This is our second visit and will definitely return again soon!

Rock View is absolutely beautiful! It is located in a lovely location with outstanding views of the surrounding countryside. Our host Joanne was so attentive to our every need including delicious breakfast every morning and giving us guidance on where things were located that might be of interest to us. We so enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights and give our thanks to Joanne for her kindness and for making our stay at Rock View an enjoyable experience.

Everything! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. It is located in a very quaint and lovely area. Steve welcomed us and made our stay feels like home. Excellent breakfast! We will definitely come back.

Nothing everything was perfect.

Excellent fist class accommodation beautifuly decorated bedrom with comfy bed amazing bathroom and added luxury of your own tv room with log fire. The property is beautifully decorated. Tea making facilities in the room along with a fridge stocked with fresh produce. Breakfast was delicious with a different choice each morning and served to your room. Joanne and Steve are great hosts, friendly, and very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. A great gem of a b&b will definitely be retuning.

Our stay in Rock view absolutely fantastic. We were welcomed by Joanne at the door and showed us the facilities. The attention to detail needs to be seen to appreciate it. The bedroom was beautiful, the bathroom is immaculate, and we had our own lounge which is first class. Breakfast was as good as I have ever had. I have recommended it to my friends and suggest you give them a try. I can't wax lyricals enough about it. Congratulations Joanne &Steve

There is nothing I didn't like but it is worth bearing in mind when booking that there are no facilities in the (Very pretty) village itself.

This is a perfect B&B with perfectly charming hosts. It's truly Yorkshire hospitality, they really try to accommodate your every need. It's also ideally located fro the Dales.

We had a warm welcome by Joanne. Picturesque village location, reserved space for our car. Great bedroom & bathroom. Bathroom had a huge bath and a wonderful walk-in shower. We even had the sole use of a great lounge on the ground floor with TV & comfy couches. Also a wood fire stove which we didn’t need, but Joanne would have lit for us on request. Great home made breakfasts served in our bedroom. We even had a small fridge in our room with fresh milk, juice, yoghurts etc. every detail was well thought out. Great hospitality.

What a gem hidden in a cute Yorkshire village providing a stunning gateway into the Wensleydale area. Joanne and her partner converted parts of their home into a beautiful B&B. Downstairs we had our own living room complete with a chimney and "Merlin" the cat. Upstairs we had a spectacular bathroom and a very elegant bedroom. Breakfast was always amazing, and Joanne was most helpful with her local insights.

The owners could not have been more welcoming. They prepared a lovely breakfast each morning, gave us advice on local walks and allowed us to enjoy our stay with exclusive use of a lounge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is located in a sleepy village close to Leyburn and other places of interest in the Dales. The guest bathroom is the cherry on the cake!
