Decking on balcony was warped an springing , their was the odd stain on the carpets , an Saturday night their was some party going on not in the diamond hotel but very close, the music was extremely loud an went on till early morning made the last night of my stay uncomfortable,

The views were excellent, beds were comfy, make sure u get a room with balcony as the rooms were stuffy

The decor is outdated. Bedroom look and furniture gives olden days vibes but it didnt effect my sleep.

Staff hospitality was really good. Ahmed changed our rooms. So both rooms were together. My children were given free icecreams that was nice touch. Everything was in the room kettle tea bags coffee sugar and tv. Clean bedding and towels.

It was very dated and smelt musty my double bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together The desk drawers were nailed shut only had use of the small drawers, I was supposed to have a fan an iron and a hairdryer in our room there was none of these when asked about an iron the boy at the desk said there wasn’t any even though when he opened the drawer to look I could clearly see one I was going to a wedding so I had to go to the local Asda and buy one.

The view from my balcony was beautiful and there was easy access to the harbour and town centre.

Not that I didn’t like it, the room was adequate for the night and I was happy with the value vs what I had so more negative points rather than not liking. Bed was a little uncomfortable and the mattress looked to bow in the middle! Decor is dated or needs redoing (my room had wallpaper ripped off in parts). Bathroom old, shower small and took a while for hot water to come through. Had 4 mini bottles of shampoo on the sink which was a nice touch but maybe shower gel as well as shampoo would be nice. The plug sockets of which yes there were plenty, were odd! The table with the kettle was by a plug but the kettle lead doesn’t reach, no worries I just moved it. The plug sockets by the bed are on top of some wooden beading so large plugs or large corded plugs won’t fit in them! One of the three rooms we booked had no chair in the room the other three did. One had a very dated hairdryer the other two didn’t.

The rooms were spacious, had facilities such as kettle and tea/coffee, TV. Provided towels and little bottles of shampoo. Small wardrobe space, but ample drawers in tables (dressing and bedside). Friendly staff member at reception. Parking available (limited) at £10 per night. Free WiFi. Not far from the town walking (but up and down a hill) or £6.50 in a taxi (approx).

The bees nest, splintered decking, sticky in places, drain full of hair, shower not cleaned and dust but it was good for the price and did exactly the job for a one night stay!

However, the building saw better times: it's old and has not been renovated for a while. The lamp shade was ripped, toilet door with a hole it it and no lock, no bulbs in reading lights over the beds. Very-very average.

It's OK - this perfectly describes the hotel. We had a good sleep in a room of decent size. It's was clean, with shower gel, hand wash, shampoo and towels provided. It was stuffy but there's a working fan to help with it. You may also use a kettle to make a cup of tea. Reception team was polite and helpful. Parking is £10 per night and was full when we arrived. WiFi is available, as well as hot and cold water.

The room is well cleaned but the toilet facilities need improvement as I had to clean the toilet seat and the bath tub by my self and also informed the attending staff about my dissatisfaction of the bathroom.

I like the bed, very comfy. I enjoyed the fan as well. I also like the bed switch making it easy to on and off the light.

My hotel room looked like student accommodation from the 2003-2007 years era. If you are a solo traveler, alone, then this hotel is ok. But if you are a couple, don't bring your girlfriend there. She will not like it.

Nothing in the hotel, no bar etc. room layouts were a little confusing and wasn't explained to us at the desk.

Cheap room for the night to break up our travelling. Great view from room with a balcony. Close to locks shops and the town was a 15 minute walk. Small car park included which we managed to get a space.
