The beds were not great and the pillows were terrible. There was a bedside lamp but no outlet in which to plug it in. The doors slam quite loudly.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. Good parking area. Good price.

Some noise from what sounded like an extractor fan which was pretty loud, I think was on out side of building my window, started fairly early in the morning, only a minor annoyance.

Nice clean spacious room, appears to have been done up recently , ample car parking, only had one night as a place to crash after an event by.

I am a wheel chair user and was able to use a ramp up to reception but was not able to access the ground floor room as it was in a separate building with no accessibility.

Everything was as expected.

Nice and quiet location in Boʼness, with a spacious parking. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was comfortable and very big with lots of storage space. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. If you are looking for accommodation outside Edinburgh, but within 1 hr drive, consider this one. Perfect for 1 or 2-nights stay.

A noisy extractor fan outside my bedroom window from the kitchen, small windows that wouldn’t open much and it was hot no fan in the room

Nice place, not far from the waterfront and town "center" and the railway museum. Great comunication with the receptionist, she let us leave the luggage at the reception before we could check in (in fact in one room we could check in much earlier without any surcharge). She also gave us advices about bus connections, ordered an airport taxi etc. Very good dinner in the restaurant and good selection of beers on the bar. We recommend this place.

The room and bathroom was overwhelming but there is no brush in toilet to clean! Kitchen no adjust fan to extract smell from the room, sink was leak while we wash the dish! Better to repair first and make it available to rent out

The evening meal. The pizza. I am sorry to say. It was particularly the base its just poor quality. The cheese again far to chewy. The toppings was okay. But not great. Could be more fresh especially the pepperoni. It tastes like a value pizza from asda. You can find better from Iceland. My other family member had the fish. The batter surrounding the fish was massive. Blown up. Served with wedges. ? Should be chips. She didn't eat much of it. The dessert was advertised as a chocolate sponge with hot chocolate sauce. It arrived and straight away we noticed it was a chocolate muffin. You can tell because the paper had been removed and still showing the lines from the paper. We had the soup on the first night. The soup was nice but the bread cold and cheap. If you are serving soup with bread should the bread be crusty and warm. ?

Breakfast was all over the place. Tables were not set properly and dogs were not allowed in the main dining area which is fine- but tea and coffee should be served to guests in the bar with dogs rather than trailing through the hotel for drinks with breakfast. Outside could have been tidier - decoration going on currently and rubbish bags are strewn around the entrances which don’t make a good impression.?

Good area near a big park for walking our dog. Very dog friendly. Staff were most helpful. Room was basic but adequate for the price. The food was very good we didn’t eat anywhere else. The bar was well stocked.
