Only a small negative, the hair dryer didn't work and the tv signal was really poor.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway. The river is beautiful, and The Red Lion really makes the most of the location .Recommend it to anyone

Only one slight niggle - the fire alarms in the bedroom have 2 green lights that flash every 20 seconds or so. At night I like it to be dark, and I could sense the flashing with my eyes shut, which did keep me awake for some time.

We have stayed at the Red Lion and Manor House many times in the past. We always have a lovely relaxing time. Burnsall is the most beautiful place. The Red lion is right next to the river, with fabulous walks in any direction. We don't take our dog, due to her personality with other dogs. But it really is the perfect place to stay if you have doggies!!! The breakfast is cooked perfectly, and a good choice. The dinners are absolutely gorgeous- high level pub grub at not too expensive a price!! The staff are always super friendly and helpful, even if they have worked a ridiculously long shift. Overall our favourite place to holiday!

The room was dated, on arrival there were loads of little mosquitos in the bathroom window, however the staff sorted the problem. No mini fridge.

Amazing location, food was excellent, drinks a reasonable price and fresh milk given on arrival.

    Nothing to say

Everything. Perfect location on the River Wharfe. Always wanted to stay here. Pleasant place to stay with good food. The staff are all excellent - particularly Jemima with her wonderful, cheery character. I wish her all the best with her future. Many thanks and thanks for the coffee mug!

There was nothing I didn't like.

Was offered tea or coffee as we sat down for breakfast. Breakfast consisted of fruit, pastries, & cereal. There was also a cooked breakfast menu. All was very tasty. Evening meal was excellent with quite a varied menu. The room we had was perfect clean and well maintained and a fantastic view looking out onto the river.

A bit tatty and run down. Extremely hot overnight meaning it wasn’t very comfortable for sleeping. Room only had one power socket for example.

A lovely location with excellent views. Friendly staff doing their best to help.
