We only wanted a room for the night, no food. The hotel was very comfortable, clean etc. No complaints and very reasonable. We chose it for proximity to family and will use again.

Room in need of a deep clean, not just a daily clean. Lots of dust on light shades, window sills as well as above and below the glass surfaces for television and tea making facilities. Also the bath would benefit greatly with a handrail to aide assistance getting in and out.

Good size room. Bright, welcoming and nicely decorated restaurant.

It was getting late and I manage to book a room at 8pm. Greeted by a lovely receptionist there was a wedding party & she said your in a room far down the corridor so you won’t be disturbed by the music which was perfect!

From check in to checkout staff were wonderful and helpful. The room was suitable for my needs, ground floor with shower. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, which was delicious. Parking was literally on the door step.

It's an old building so expect stairs! It's a bit of a trek to some parts, up and down to get to rooms

Breakfast great feast buffet. Location just off bus route from railway station but easy short walk from stop.

Only minor little things prevented a top marks. Curtain hanging off the hook, very minor issue with the sink that was sorted in seconds. Tiny things but a very relaxing stay and as stated I will be back

Positives far outweighed the negatives and I will be back. Staff were exceptionally friendly, best hotel sleep ever and a super breakfast. Easy check in and out.

The general areas/staircases and halls looked as though they needed hoovering. The room was quite a walk from reception through a maze of stairways and corridors, possibly not suitable for older or inform guests.

Simple check in process, nice bar facilities and gardens. The room was clean, modern and well equipped.

The only issue we had was that the bed in the superior room was two beds put together. This caused an uncomfortable line in the middle when sleeping. Staff however were more than friendly in offering alternative rooms, however the only rooms that didn’t have this were smaller standard. We decided to stay and just requested an extra duvet which we slept on and made it more comfortable

Staff were really helpful and friendly and wild accommodate any request. Very welcoming and facilities were really good.

Nothing really to dislike, the place is getting work done to it, but it didn't interfere with my stay at all.

Great location to stay, the room was a good size, bed was comfy, even though it was a single bed & it had the usual tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast next morning was very good too, definitely worth the money & wouldn't hesitate to stay there again the next time I'm nearby.

Decor needs some refreshing. My room overlooked dustbins. Corridors leading to bedrooms rather non-descript and in need of pictures and colour.

It’s a country hotel set in its own grounds - spacious with a terrace, gardens, bar and attractive restaurant.

We were in a family room and it was a really hot day/evening. The windows do not have safety catches on so there was no way to have the windows open safely with children in the room. The child's single bed was also directly below the window so there was no way we could risk this.

Check-in was easy. Room was clean. Staff were friendly, especially female member of staff at breakfast. Great selection at breakfast. Easy check-out.

Breakfast was okay but when I went up there were only 3 mushrooms and no eggs left I think they were refilled but by that time I was ready to leave but what I had was nice enough. It was only a one night stay. Nothing bad about it.

The hotel was fine for what i needed simple but comfortable and more importantly room was clean.

We were there for 10 days and whilst we got clean towels whenever we wanted them, the bed linen wasn’t changed at all during our stay. The bin was emptied and consumables were Restocked, but the room wasn’t vacuumed either. I know it’s hard to get enough staff, and the place was clean enough on arrival, so any things which needed cleaning were our own doing, I did think this was unusual.

The hotel is very comfortable and the grounds make it feel very rural even though the property is Close to Redditch Town Centre. The staff were lovely.

Plenty of choice at breakfast. Our lunch time party chose from different menus all were well satisfied in terms of quality and value. Staff always very pleasant and available to sort out any minor issues we had.
