We have stayed in various properties within Anstruther and Cellardyke and this was by far the most disappointing and not

The property needs a lot of TLC. The furniture was stained and covered with throws to hide this. The sofa parted one evening and the amount of dirt, biscuits and other debris which had collected from previous visitors had not been cleaned. There were no mattress or pillow protectors used which was a bit concerning. It was advised there was a patio area for dining however it did not state this was shared with other residents and was used as a public foot path to access other properties therefore not very private and a bit disappointing

The location was good and suited our needs

The description said that there was on-street parking. However, we felt it should have been stated more clearly that the nearest parking is a hundred yards away. Quite a long way to carry one`s luggage ! Also, competition for parking spaces seems quite intense during the Summer holiday season.

Great location and cosy flat. Nice little courtyard and easy on street parking nearby. Really good for dog walks and access to the coastal walks and village.

No parking at the property albeit a short walk away (up a few garden steps). Bathroom downstairs away from bedrooms on first floor.

Lovely location near Anstruther. Facilities were excellent with everything thought through and covered inside the property.

It's an old tradition building converted to 2 apartments, so layout is a little awkward and soundproofing between them could be better..

The location is excellent, cellardyke still has a tradition fishing village feel. Great walks and a pub/restaurant is very close. The accommodation has everything you need,

The stove trips the fuses, making it impossible to use the oven and hard to use the stove.

Really charming. Great location next to the sea. Lots of really nice personal touches that made it feel very homey.

unfortunately the cooker fuse blew and delayed us whilst we waited for the maintenance to arrive. It happened again but we knew where the fuse box was on this occassion.

Better basic facilities in the kitchen … foil, oil, sugar, salt and pepper? Upstairs can be heard quite clearly but it wasn’t a problem. Parking a little difficult when unloading and loading car.

Location was beautiful for touring the local area. Wild swimming opportunities were plenty around the area with the tidal pools. Local community very friendly and helpful.

House is neglected and does not look nor feel like the photos. the house realistically can only sleep two adults (sharing a small double bed) and two small children . The bunkbeds are NOT suitable for an adult. The lounge is full of random furniture. The house directly above is very noisy (floor boards creak). The kitchen is not fully stocked and the stove kept shorting the electricity. However after our first week a new stove was fitted.

The location was perfect because we needed to be walking distance from Anstruther. The team at Premier Fife Stays were fantastic and responsive. If not for them it would have been miserable.
