I had a very friendly greeting on arrival and was shown to my room which impressed from the outset. It was furnished to a high standard, immaculately clean, very comfortable bed and good shower. Warmly welcomed at breakfast and the food was the highest quality I've had in any accommodation, bar none. Thoroughly recommended.

It was perfect for us leaving early the following day from Stansted. The host could not have been more accommodating in all things including a breakfast slightly earlier than her normal time.

There was nothing that we did not like.

The breakfast we choice was a full English and was very good (best I ever tasted) with fresh bread and fresh fruits including strawberries and the room was fully equipped with water cooker, TV and a fridge and very comfortable big bed and several pillow options. There was a magnetron oven outside the door entry in case needed. Plenty free car park. The Owners were kindly waiting until 10.30 pm when we arrived from Harwich Stenaline ferry due to customs check delays at the port we arrived 1 hrs late. And the owners message us their phone number prior our arrival and did ask our expected arrival time. All well communicated. Very friendly owners and clean rooms (like new inside).

Nothing could be improved.

It was all exceptional. The room was clean, comfortable & well-appointed, with the mini fridge & access to microwave welcome bonuses. Breakfast was cooked well, with ample choice & served in conservatory with wonderful views of countryside. The location was easily accessible, although was peaceful & delightfully rural. The hosts were welcoming, friendly & helpful, but not intrusive. I liked having my own front door to my accommodation.

We liked everything about it.

Perfect for an overnight stay. Warm welcome from the host. Clean spacious room, very clean. Enormous bed which was very comfortable. Tasty cooked breakfast with eggs from the farm.

Very very clean nice little unit. Compact but not cramped. Fridge in the room that never made a sound, and a microwave just outside the door that I wasn't aware of when I booked but was very happy to see when I got there.

A spacious, clean, warm and quiet room with helpful information about local places to eat etc. A great breakfast and a lovely, go-the-extra-mile response when I mentioned that I’d lost some makeup (it had rolled under the wardrobe). I’d tried reaching it with my hand but couldn’t quite reach. Before I knew it, the wardrobe had been moved and the makeup retrieved, along with my engagement ring, which I hadn’t even noticed had come off! Thank goodness Roger and Jane care so much about their guests. They prevented what would have been a very upsetting loss/potential divorce. Thank you so much.
