Beyond our expectations. What transpired to be a very large ‘apartment’ providing for all our needs. Very comfortable with everything required for a superb stay - a fabulous home from home in a wonderful area of Edinburgh. We were there for the Festival and walked everywhere, but there are bus stops virtually on the doorstep to take you into town and the thoughtful guide provided by our host gave information if needing a taxi, along with information regarding restaurants and the local are of Stockbridge - a real gem. We could not fault our stay.

Everything! A wonderful room, a very large, comfortable bed and a very well appointed kitchen. The bathroom and extra toilet are great. Such a comfortable, welcoming place with a very friendly and helpful host.

Everything! Huge rooms with high ceilings, kings size bed(❤️) dishwasher, washing machine, but no dryer, 2 toilets, large bath. Can we move in??

Great location, very welcoming and attentive host. Place was clean and very comfortable bed. Had everything you needed included toiletries. Welcome package of shortbread was a nice treat! 10/10 would recommend.

We stayed in a winter time and apartment was little cold during nights. I think the heating system can operate in a longer time during winter. The way to Princes Street is sloped on Frederick street. It was not a problem for us but some people may not like it.

Very nice apartment in a traditional building with a nice interior. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend. The property owner was so king and welcoming.

Emily was a brilliant host. The room and facilities were amazing and only a 10 minute walk to the Christmas market which was the main reason for our visit. The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole suite was spotless. I would highly recommend you to stay here. We would definitely book again

Although I was warned about a tile edge at the entrance to the bathroom by the owner when I checked in, I still managed to stub my toes on it several times during my stay. This needed some form of finishing strip to prevent accidents. I couldn't get the bedside lamps to work.

Self-catering stay- a beautiful flat, so spacious and elegant, had a massive lounge with comfortable couches and an extra large bed, there was also a spacious dining kitchen, well equipped and a welcome pack was greatly appreciated. Amazing bathroom with large bath and a separate shower cabinet.

Lovely apartment, very clean and has everything you need. We followed a few restaurant recommendations by the host and did not regret. Just a short walk to the main tourist sights and in a very quiet neighbourhood

Lovely apartment which had everything you need plus much more. Emily supplied special little treats were very much appreciated by us both. Very close to attraction and the old town. There was a lovely little village close by - this apartment was in a beautiful area.

Beautiful apartment, exactly as shown in the pictures Emily was a very accommodating host, she was there to meet us and show us the apartment, she also was kind enough to allow us to check in a little early and and also to store our luggage safely on check out day .

For us the only downside would be that I cannot take my assistance dog.

The property was, comfortable, spacious and welcoming. It is near enough to the centre to walk yet far enough to feel like a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of bars and restaurants noise in the evening.

-Emily was so friendly, welcoming, and super fast to respond with some extra towels we requested! -The apartment was stunning, warm, clean, and extremely spacious! -The bed was so comfy which was well appreciated after hiking around Edinburgh for the day. -Location was amazing!

The property is situated in a quiet road just up from Stockbridge. This is an excellent spot with the centre of Edinburgh just 10 minutes walk away. Both my wife and I loved the property. Very clean and spacious. Would really recommend.
